Story
Chase is a wonderfully sweet 55-lb 15-month-old looking for a loving home with no other pets in the house. We adopted him through a foster program and immersed him into a household with three other dogs. He loves long car rides, walks, cuddling, going in to the office, exploring the beach, ocean waves, playing with toys and chasing a tennis ball. He is a wonderful walking partner and he is house and crate trained! He loves other dogs but can be anxious with the chaos of them and would do better with an owner that can spend more time training him. He has has been professionally trained on the e-collar and his anxiety has improved tremendously. We will miss Chase and would love to be able to visit him after he is re-homed. We know he will make a fantastic family dog.

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. This litter of Pit mix pups (2 girls;3 boys) have an estimated DOB 6/26/24. They were placed in a fold-up-type wagon and left at the front door of a vet clinic. The pups were very small considering the vet determined that they were already 5mos old!! They ranged between 5-12#s! They received good quality food and as much as they wanted. They all doubled their weight and size in 3 weeks! I have never seen such growth. I’m not sure how big they will get because they are making up for lost time. These pups are the absolute sweetest. They show NO aggressiveness… No bully. They all just want LOVE!!! COOKIE…She is the smallest of the group. She was only 5.5# when she came in but now she is about 14#s. She’s growing like a weed. She is much like her sister… very sweet and loves attention from humans. She will make a great companion and won’t be real big. I can guess she may get to be 25-30#s. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. DAISY Female, spayed 2 years old Pit bull terrier 52 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Good with kids, Untested with dogs, not good with cats Follow Daisy on Instagram at #lovepaws_daisy Daisy is a sweet, cuddly girl with a gentle disposition. She is crate trained, potty trained and is a fast learner! Her foster describes her as smart and playful. Daisy loves to cuddle on the couch and stretch her body out as long as possible to make sure she is touching her human. She insists on laying her head on pillows like a princess. When given the choice of dog beds, she always chooses the smallest one to curl up in like a cozy donut. She is extremely smart and can learn new commands in a single day! Daisy likes to sleep in late, cuddled up with her person. Upon waking, she loves a good stretch and belly rub before getting up. After breakfast, she enjoys a good walk to sniff and chase squirrels or maybe even go for a run. She spends her day snoozing in a good sun spot or curled up on the couch. Sometimes, her toy hedgehog catches her eye and she loves making it squeak and tossing it around!  She would do well with formal training for structured walks as the squirrels get her excited to play! Daisy is ready for a forever home where she can receive all the love and cuddles! Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Submit an application here!  December 9, 2024, 5:20 pm

Story
We are sadly looking to re-home Ruthie, our beautiful, cuddly lapdog whose loud, ridiculous tail wags always bring a smile. We are heartbroken, but it’s become clear that she shouldn’t be in a home with a toddler or another dog. Ruthie is incredibly sweet and absolutely LOVES attention from adults- she is just too unpredictable to be around small children and unfortunately struggles with resource guarding around our older dog. She may do much better with older kiddos who are good with boundaries and have the energy to keep her busy. Ruthie is a big girl (70 pounds) but doesn’t know it and loves getting into our laps for pets. She is a huge fan of playing fetch outside but doesn’t really care for walks (very low maintenance lady!). Please reach out if you or anyone you know might be able to provide a more Ruthie-friendly home. We adore this girl and know she can thrive away from the stresses of having a little brother and a big sister to compete with.

Story
His previous owner was in the military and she was getting stationed elsewhere and was unable to take him so I took him in when he was 1. I got him neutered and microchipped. He currently is 6 and will be 7 on July 1st. I am looking for a new home for him because I recently had a baby and I am unable to give him the time I once did. He also does not get along with my one year old. He likes to cuddle. He likes to play with plushies and gets the zoomies when hes able to run outside. I think he should be in a home without children so he can thrive. He is very protective of his owner and obedient.
