Hi there! The name's Loggins (no relation to Kenny Loggins, but just as talented). I came in as a stray so my history is a mystery, but what my friends here at the shelter have quickly found out is that I'm a huge love! I love people and making new friends so I'm ready to find my forever home. My happy go lucky personality can get the better of me since it appears I don't have a ton of training. It's important for me to go to an adult only home because I can be a bit mouthy when I get excitable and want attention. I know with a little patience and work I can be the best boy though! I just need someone who's going to help me with my manners, and as a show of gratitude, I promise to be your best friend and shower you with all the loves and kisses. Petunia is a resilient and loving dog who was found abandoned in a crate on the shelter's property during a night we were closed. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Samaritan took her in for the evening, providing her with warmth and safety. Despite her rough start, Petunia greeted her rescuers with boundless enthusiasm, her tail wagging non-stop and her friendly personality shining through. She has a sweet nature and loves to roll over and show her belly, always eager for a bit of affection. Though she was in poor condition when found, with itchy skin and overgrown nails, Petunia is already looking and feeling better every day. This gentle girl adores head and neck scratches but can be a bit shy about pets on her back and sides due to some lingering skin sensitivity. However, with the right care and love, her condition continues to improve, and she's ready to find a forever home where she can thrive. Petunia loves everyone she meets and enjoys long sniffing walks, taking in all the scents around her. Because of her touch sensitivity, she may do best in a home with older children who can understand her needs and give her the gentle care she deserves. Petunia also has shown some discomfort around other dogs and is required to be your one and only canine companion in her new home. Ketchup is such a sweetheart. Ketchup (46151) is a 6 month old female Pitbull mixed breed. Ketchup was found as stray, wandering around outside of an apartment complex with her brother Mustard (46152) Ketchup is sweet and submissive. Ketchup would do best in a home environment that is not an apartment or condo. When Ketchup came to the shelter, staff noticed she was limping a bit on her front leg. Ketchup was taken to our vet where they accessed, she had an old injury in her front leg that healed a bit wonky. The vet recommended she start taking joint supplements to help her on her healing journey. So far, she has been wonderful about taking her joint supplements and sits politely while taking them from staff. Lulu was born on December 6th and she weighs about 60 lbs. Unfortunately, my job has been requiring me to work long hours, so that interferes with me spending time with Lulu. Lulu loves to run around and lay in fields. She loves to play with her chew toys and play tug-of-war with her rope. Lulu is a great cuddler, too. I am looking for a home that will be very attentive and caring to her. Although Lulu may have a bit of a short attention span, she is a great listener and can easily learn new commands.
