I got Luna from the humane society, she 1 and a half. Very playful and active. She does good with kids and we do have a other small dog and she does good with her and has not been around another dog other than her.

Story
Chloe was a COVID dog, meaning I got her right before COVID (at about 7 months old) and so she got little-to-no social exposure. She has never intentionally hurt me. When I would get between her and other people she would nip my legs to try to pull me back. When my boyfriend first met her (about 3 years old) she treated him like everyone else and barked loudly and aggressively. Thankfully he is patient and loves dogs, so he sat down and then eventually laid down to show her he was not a threat. Over time he gave her treats and slowly gave her affection and eventually convinced her to let him take her for a walk. From that day on she was obsessed with him. She gives him more affection than even me and my kids sometimes! Eventually we tried to introduce her to my boyfriend's dog, and it didn't go well. We tried multiple times and she just doesn't seem to like other dogs or strangers. My boyfriend's dog loves everyone, and you could tell his dog really tried to play with Chloe.

My wife and I got Coco from the humane society in May of 2024. She was 3 years old according to their vet, but she was very thin and didnt know many commands. It appeared as if she was neglected as a puppy. When we first got her, she was very bad about resource guarding around other dogs. Since then she has been through obedience training and has come a long way. She still needs constant reminders to not eat trash, but she is great on a leash, is kennel trained, is decent at fetch (although she doesnt always remember that she has to drop the ball so I can throw it again) and she love to cuddle! She would do well with an experienced pitty owner who can spend a good amount of time with her. She is good with dogs and cats and kids, but needs reminders and redirection if she gets to playing too hard. We are looking to move cross country, and don’t have the means to take her and give her the care she deserves

Hi, I'm Blitz, a boy full of joy and love. I'm a calm, easygoing guy but I always get excited when my people come home. I don't know why, but I like to try to groom people's hair! I also enjoy getting in the car and going to meet new people. I love humans of all ages and get along well with other doggies. I'm working on potty-training and bet I'll get the hang of that soon! I was surrendered at a WAAL event by an overwhelmed but nice lady who just couldn't take care of my siblings and me. Lucky for you, that makes me available for adoption! Roxie, this little lady is always so happy it just makes you feel happy yourself. She loves chew toys, running in the yard and snuggling. She is crate trained and good around other dogs. I believe she would be happy in a home with or without dogs. She likes to sleep against your side and sometimes likes to be under the covers. She enjoys the small pool and just hanging out with her family. She rides great in the car but is not a fan of fireworks. She is just an all round sweetheart.

This beautiful girl is Dolly! Dolly is super sweet and very timid, especially with men. Once she warms up to you, she really shows her silly side! She takes the label of BFF to heart. She loves a solid zoomie session outside and can shred a stuffie like it's her job. Dolly's motto is play hard, nap harder. Our girl is your basic house hippo! She can walk really well on a leash, but she does tend to pull if she gets spooked and wants to go back home. She takes treats gently and gives the best soft and slobbery kisses! Dolly has shown some guarding issues that have been manageable with guidance and structure. She will need a strong and patient leader to help her through her fear and guarding tendencies! She responds best to stern but gentle corrections. She's a very good girl that just wants to please and make her humans happy! Dolly is currently in boarding and is looking for a foster or forever home. Someone give this perfect girl a comfy home of her own!
