She's great on a leash and enjoys going for walks, exploring the world around her. Plus, Cathy is a loyal companion with good recall who loves to follow her person around and be part of the action! 🚶‍♀️🐾 Now, it's important to note that Cathy can get quite excited and may jump up when she's thrilled to see you. Meet Ana! This precious love-bug just wants a family to call her own. After being misused for breeding litter after litter, Ana is done having babies and wants to be the baby in someone’s family. You don’t often come across the opportunity to rescue an adult dog that comes full of love and with the best doggy manners! Ana is happily crate-trained, she’ll go in willingly to rest or hangout or is quietly happy to stay in her crate for downtime but if left out in the house, she’s respectful of things and non-destructive. She’s completely potty trained and when she needs to go out, she’ll lay in front of the door to let you know. Not only does she have excellent house manners, but she’s polite with all other animals as well. At her foster home, she has multiple dogs of all different sizes (Saint Bernard to Chihuahua). She warms up quickest to other dogs that also have good dog-manners but adapted to the entire established pack quickly. We had no knowledge of her having any previous experiences with cats but she’s been wonderful with both cats in the home. One is very friendly, the other prefers dogs to leave him alone and she respects both cats and doesn’t chase or bother either. She’s also been exposed to horses for the first time and watches them with joyful curiosity and doesn’t bark or chase at the horses. She would do very well in any multi-pet household but she ultimately prefers to be with humans first and foremost. She is all tail-wags and pittie grins for any and all humans that want to engage with her - men, women, and she LOVES children. She does love to cuddle and she’s a stocky girl, but she has been very good about respecting our 2 year old’s space and not bumping her over, she also takes treats extremely gently from kids. She is a very special dog who is happy cuddling on the couch, going for a hike, or checking out something new with her person or people.

Meet Willow! Her soulful, sweet eyes tell you exactly her personality! Willow is a calm, curious puppy who isn’t quite as outgoing as her sister Luna but is equally as smart and sweet. She’s catching on quickly to crate-training and always steps outside to use her potty pad. She’s very gentle, both in play and taking treats and with little human fingers. For a small puppy, she already seems to understand that human fingers aren’t for chomping on and keeps her play to her chew toys and stuffies. She’s living with several other adults dogs, and her sister, but she prefers to watch the other dogs play rather than engage much. She’s much happier playing one-on-one with one dog or with her human companions. She’s a tiny, sweet little potato that will soak up all the cuddles that you can give her. She’s also been exposed to horses and cats. She doesn’t even pay any mind at all to the horses and she’d like to play with the cats but hasn’t quite figured out how to do so yet, so instead, she sits, tail wags, and watches. She’s happiest when cuddled up in a lap, getting all the human love she can manage.

Meet Luna! She’s an absolutely gorgeous puppy who is full of confidence, curiosity and energy. She’s started on crate training and she’s been doing wonderfully about leaving her crate clean and using her potty pads and then consistently going outside. She’s extremely food motivated and eager to learn - she caught on to the need to ‘sit’ to get food almost instantaneously. Every day, her foster Mom hand feeds her breakfast with ‘sit’ and ‘come’ to reinforce good canine citizen behaviors and she has already caught on to the routine. Living with several other dogs, Luna has wonderful puppy behaviors for respecting older dogs and learning what play is acceptable and what is not and has good sense. She has met cats and horses and is curious about both but maintains a respectful distance to both. Luna has tons of growing and learning to do but she is showing signs of being easily trainable and highly intelligent.
