ZEUS Pitbull mixNeutered male3 yearsI am a very friendly and outgoing guy I have also lived with catsI am house broken and crate trained I came to the shelter with a history of allergies that my previous owner put a lot of time and money into figuring out how to make me most comfortable. Because of this, I will need an adopter that understands I will have monthly expenses for the duration of my life for meds and food to keep me flaring up. Please call the shelter to discuss this in more detail.

Andre2 years oldTerrier/Mastiff MixI weigh in at a whopping 85 pounds. I came to the shelter as a stray.I was very shy when first coming into the shelter. But now I am used to the staff and think they are the greatest. Initially when meeting new people, I may take some time to trust and be comfortable with you. I also love to get my belly rubbed.I would do best in a home with no other animals but may accept a mellow female dog.Come in and meet me; after a few belly rubs you`ll fall in love!

Nugget60 poundsI love to be around people and especially to play ball with them. I can also be destructive with plush toys. So have some spare toys on hand for me!I am fine hanging out with mellow girls. I don`t play with them but rather hang out.I would do best in a home with no feline friends, but I am good with kids that are older only because I like toys and if you have one in your hand, I might try and take it from you.I do know several behaviors and am happy to please.I am also crate trained and enjoy having it as my safe place

🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾Bennie🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾 Bennie came to us at the very end of 2022 with his buddy who has already been adopted. LIMITED TIME ONLY! ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED! Hi, my name is Koa! I have deformed bowed legs from being crated all my life and a knee injury! I need a TPLO surgery but due to my bowed legs I was told I am not a candidate for surgery at this time. I am the sweetest boy who would protect you to no end. 🩵🩵 I love to know I have a bit of freedom & have done so much better with open space. I am content by myself but would much rather have human company near me at all times. I do love my fosters large breed dogs. I am unsure how I would do with small animals. Due to prey drive I cannot be adopted to a home with small animals. I LOVE to lick! As you can tell my feet are stained, due to licking so much. I am not a huge fan of actual toys. Just things I can constantly lick & chew. My digestive system isn’t the greatest, but I finally have normal bowel movements! 😄😄 I would love to have bones, cow hooves or pig ears but unfortunately, I can’t process them like I should be able to ☹️. My Kong toy has become my all-time fav now!! I am on prescription dry food. I love to go on car rides! One of my foster’s coworkers brought it to her attention that I’d be a great fit for a truck driver!! I have a hard time with separation from people or my foster siblings. If you’re with me, I can go 4-5 hours without having to go outside. I love all humans & all I ever want are belly rubs or a scratch under my ears & collar. ❤️ I’d be best as an only dog, but with a very slow introduction it is possible to have other siblings.

Story
🖤 Draco is ready for his forever 🖤 Draco isn’t only the loyal dog everybody wants, but he is determined to be your best friend for life no matter what. Dogs never seem to fail humans but yet so many are failed by owners. Draco is ready to have a furever home where he won’t be failed! Draco is a great dog who loves to snuggle on the couch with his person and give you plenty of kisses. He enjoys running outside and playing with his abundance of toys. He also enjoys a big backyard to run in when he gets the zoomies. Unfortunately many would look past him because of his coloring, but I think it makes him stand out even more. I have truly enjoyed taking care of this precious soul, he is such a joyful dog and will make someone very happy! He is hard of hearing so when you want to get his attention I either squeak a toy or I wave to him to come. This treat motivated boy will make the perfect dog for someone who is willing to give him the chance he needs. Check out his videos in the comments! Quick facts ⬇️ •5 year old male pitbull •Dog friendly; cats unknown •Fully vaccinated, microchipped, and fixed •Hearing impaired •Energetic and loves jolly balls •Loves to snuggle 📝 Foster application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Foster-Application 📝 Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Adoption-Application 📍 Currently being temp fostered in Loganville, GA Foster or adopter in the Midwest needed! Story
Weight: 60 lbsRosie is a sweet, 3-year-old Pit Mix who takes her time warming up to new people. Though initially reserved, she quickly reveals her affectionate and playful side once she feels safe. Rosie’s energy and excitement shine through as she bonds with those who show her patience. She thrives on positive reinforcement, so treats, toys, and praise are the keys to her heart. She loves playing with her favorite toys, especially when there’s a bit of tug-of-war or fetch involved. Rosie’s eagerness to please makes her a wonderful companion for a family willing to give her time to build trust. With the right environment and care, she’ll become a loyal and loving member of the family, showering them with affection once she feels secure.Rosie has shown she can safely exist around other dogs and walk amongst other dogs. She does however have a threshold, where she can be overwhelmed. Based on her interactions, her threshold is not long enough for her to live long-term in a home with another dog. She can safely exist within the community but would do best as an only dog.Dogs: Only dog in the homeCats: Unknown. Let staff know if you have a cat in the homeKids: 12 and up Required

Weight: 90 lbsMeet our big girl Shiba. If you`re looking for a buddy to walk off those holiday pounds, she is your gal. Shiba is a happy-go lucky gal who absolutely adores attention. Our staff has nick named her little potato. She is super friendly and will always be excited to see you when you come home from a long workday. Shiba came to Humane FW due to the passing of her owner. Despite that, she is easy going and you guessed it...loves treats. The staff is highly recommending an active home. She definitely would make an excellent walking buddy. She has lived with other dogs but staff recommends bringing all dogs in the home to meet with her. Come adopt this super sweet gal today! She strikes the perfect balance between playful and affectionate—mature enough to have good manners but still full of enthusiasm for her favorite activities. Despite her age, Alexis loves to run and would make a fantastic running buddy for someone looking for an active companion. She enjoys playtime in a securely fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and explore. While she’s always up for an adventure, Bella also appreciates the simple joys of belly rubs and quality time with her favorite humans. She gets along well with other dogs and would be a wonderful addition to a loving home ready to embrace her sweet and spirited nature.Dogs: Yes. Recommend a meet and greetCats: UnknownKids: Unknown.
