Story
Charlie is a 9 year old pit bull mix. He’s a giant sweetheart who is made happy simply by petting him and giving him a soft bed to lay on. He’s very laid back and chill. He seems completely indifferent to other dogs and cats - only focused on his owner. He does have separation anxiety, so the perfect home for him would be someone who is not gone a lot. But, if that’s not an option, he has adapted to my schedule where I’m gone for up to 9 hours a day, 5 days a week with zero accidents in home and zero things tore up. He doesn’t like lawnmowers or loud noises. He is on trazadone and Prozac to help with his separation anxiety as well as apoquel to help with itchy skin. The trazadone and Prozac are pretty cheap, about $35 for 3 month supply on chewy. The apoquel is quite a bit more, but may not need it in the cooler months. The reason I am rehoming has NOTHING to do with Charlie. I have only had him about 6 months and I am not a dog person (he was given to me by family).

Story
She completed a basic obedience class in 2022. She knows the commands, but needs consistent follow through that she hasn't received. She is very energetic. She is a very affectionate dog and always wants to cuddle. She will crawl right in your lap for a hug. She was raised with another dog and they have always played well together. She can be food and toy aggressive, but takes correction well from both people and the other dog. She has no history of biting. She prefers to play chase and tug. She's less interested in fetch. She likes kids, but needs to be watched closely with little kids, due to her high energy and playful nature. She can get very excitable when people come to the door and needs correction. She is fearful of loud noises (thunder and fireworks). She has never been around cats. She can be territorial with new people, but warms up within minutes when encouraged by someone she trusts to meet the new person. She sheds throughout the year and has a short single coat.

Story
This is Zues. Zues lived with his previous owner from puppy until he was 6. He was then dumped on the streets by a family member of his owner who said they would take care of him since his owner was no longer able. Due to the extreme change in his life, Zues is an anxious guy when you first meet him. After he warms up, he is the sweetest boy in the world. He loves ear rubs and cuddles. He is nuetured, house trained, and up to date on shots. He does not chew up things when left alone except for his toys. He loves kongs and tennis balls. Zues is partially blind. Our vet thinks it is something that he was born with and currently can only see a little bit, probably mostly shadows. He gets around fine but will trip over/run into things from time to time. The vet said the disease will eventually cause full blindness but no other health concerns. Due to his semi-blindness he is nervous around other dogs and would need to be the only dog in the home.
