Story
Squeak is an adorable pittie puppy with reddish fur and stunning green/hazel eyes. Squeak was found as a stray and was covered with cuts and scars on his body, but we don't know what caused them. They have healed nicely and his fur is growing back in. His foster mom told him that chicks dig scars, so now he wears them proudly instead of being embarrassed by them!
If you are looking for a buddy to do things with and grow old with, Squeak is your dog! He loves people, being with them, and just doing things with them. Do you like to spend time in the yard? Squeak will be your assistant and help carry the rake or pick up sticks in the yard! You like spending time inside? He will hang out with you while you clean, watch TV, etc., as long as you give him pets and a bone to chew on!
Squeak is a puppy with mid to high energy. He is a true puppy, and will go and and go if you let him, so sometimes he needs time to nap and recharge. He loves being outside, running around, investigating, chasing leaves, finding sticks, or chasing balls. He has been doing well with leash training, and he would do great with an active family that loves to go for walks or adventures, or maybe a camping/hiking buddy! When Squeak is inside, he is happiest with a bone to chew on, or playing with his foster siblings. At night he will cuddle with you as long as you will let him!
He is working on basic commands and potty training. He has learned that if he goes into his crate he gets a treat. He does well at night in his crate. Squeak would likely do best in a home with older kids that understand how to play appropriately with a puppy.
If you needed any other reasons to adopt Squeak, just look at him! He has unique greenish/hazel eyes that go straight to your soul when he looks at you. Couple that with his reddish fur, and he is a stunner! He is just looking for a person to be his person, will it be you?
