Oscar was found wandering the streets of an Eastpoint neighborhood by one of his "mommies" who is known for helping dogs in need. She recruited a few ladies from her neighborhood, and me, to try to help him. We managed to coral him into a fenced in yard of a neighbor so he would be safe. We gave him some food and water, shelter, and ongoing vet care. We got him the biggest kennel we could find and set him up in his original mommy's backyard. Even built him a custom doghouse! Don't worry, his mommy brings him in her house on cold nights. We've been doing as much as we can for him the past year and a half but we both have full-time jobs, dogs of our own, and family members to take care of. All the rescue organizations we've contacted are full. He is such a love bug, crate trained, house trained, and not aggressive. He loves other dogs, but he does play rough, so he would need another dog that can match his energy and size, and an owner with experience in socializing dogs.

Hello everyone! This is Louie! Louie is about 6 years old & i acquired him from Fulton County animal services. I am looking to rehome him because i no longer have the time to care for him. My landlord recently found out i have a pet & is no longer allowing me to keep him. I also have a 1 year old son who is unfortunately allergic to him. Louie is an inside dog, has never been kept outside for any reason at all. He is house trained, have been to doggie daycare at Kirkwood bark & lounge multiple times and gets along with other kids & pets. He has never bitten anyone in the 4 years i have had him. He is very friendly to adults and loves going to the park. He is semi active, meaning he will play sometimes but most of the day just wants to sleep lol. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, & come. All vaccinations will be updated upon request. He will also come with his food, toys, & dog bowl.

I need to find a new home for my sweet dog, Arlo, because I'm unable to dedicate the time and attention he needs to thrive. Arlo is an incredibly loving and energetic pit/Staffordshire/chow mix who will be two years old in February. He's a graduate of a six-week obedience class at PetSmart and knows some basic commands, but his playful nature means he often ignores call-backs and can be hard to catch during playtime. He loves being active and would do wonderfully with someone who can commit to his training, provide regular walks, and offer lots of opportunities for play. When Casper smiles at you, and he smiles at you a lot, it feels like everything is right with the world. He's got a huge grin, and his whole face radiates joy. We've got a big crush on him! This sweet, meaty boy loves feeling the sun on his face and carrying around a tennis ball in his mouth. Casper can chase balls for days. He loves our off-leash play area, where he can run laps and roll in the dirt and leaves (his favorite thing). Casper is playful but also enjoys chilling with you. He's attentive with his friends and will check in with you when you're out walking. He also knows his basic skills, like sit and stay and wait. He'll do pretty much anything for a treat. Casper is able to pass other dogs without any issues and we're evaluating him to get a feel for how he might be with another dog in the house. Caboose is as gentle as he is beautiful. His favorite things are plush toys and playtime, and treats are probably a close third on the leaderboard. Caboose is playful and athletic, but he also has a really laidback energy, meaning that he is up for anything but is never too much. He knows how to read the room and adjust his approach. We've had a lot of abandoned pets this year, closing in on 150, and Caboose is one of them. He came in so shy and frightened, but was nothing but friendly and polite with our team, as if he sensed he was in a safe place. Since his arrival, Caboose has grown more comfortable and confident. We'd love to see him end up with someone who is as devoted to him as he will be to them. We'd love to find him someone who can offer him nothing but love and stability and the life he deserves. Caboose does seem willing to make friends with some other pups, but is a bit selective and can take time to warm up to them. The reindeer puppies are now accepting applications! These gorgeous babies – look at those eyes! – did not have the best start in life and were taken from a terrible situation by animal control. They came in sick, emaciated and skittish but we are happy to report they have blossomed with vetting and TLC. We do not know parentage but they are about two months old now and expected to be medium-sized adults. They are just getting started on potty training so are looking for a household where they can be let out frequently. We found Chocolate several months ago hurt in the rain and fostered him while we find a new home. He is great with my other dogs and very sweet. He listens and is very smart.
