I am a big fan of cookies and treats; however, they need to be made without chicken as I am allergic! Give me all the beef! I can be a little scared when there are too many people running around me and would love a home with older people so I can be safe. I love going on walks and can spend hours outside with you doing just that. I am also a little warrior and survived Lymphoma in 2017. Cancer free baby! I’m looking for my perfect furrever home. My wife and I adopted Goose in August 2023 when I was working from home and wanted another friend in the house. Since moving December of that year, and changing jobs, he has shown his true pitty nature and started destroying our house. We simply do not have the time and attention to give him that he deserves anymore. We both work 12-14 hour days, and I absolutely cannot crate my dog for that long. That’s inhumane. He is literally the sweetest dog I have ever owned. He has so much love to give and we’ve done the best we can, unfortunately for us, it seems like it’s not enough. I love this boy to death, but I know there is someone out there who can give my 3 year old boy the attention he needs.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.
