Disco`s Doggy Day Out:Disco is energetic and friendly. We took him to Phinizy Swamp Nature Park and she walks well on her leash without pulling. She did not bark at other people or dogs when they passed by. She likes to run. Disco also likes to give kisses and get belly rubs. She likes meeting new people. She is an intelligent dog and listens very well. We brought her home and we cuddled on the couch. She seemed to really like my dad and would whine when he left the room. Disco rides well in the car. I think she would be easy to train. She`s able to handle new situations very well. Overall, she is amazing and would be a great family dog!If you would like to meet Disco - she would love to be adopted! AAS is open for Adoptions Monday-Saturday from 12-4.

It’s time to meet WREN, he’s 7 months old, 38lbs and listed as a Pittie Mix (I’m thinking more Retriever Mix). He has a beautiful golden coat and a great personality. Wren is great on leash (see video in the comments), he will sit for treats and takes them gently, he hasn’t found a toy he doesn’t love and entertains himself (and you) while he’s playing and switching out his toys. He is very aware of his surroundings and will quit what he’s doing to see what is happening (he’s “almost” nosey but in a good way). He gets along with other dogs and we think he will be fine with children (the shelter will cat test if needed for an on-site adopter). He is UTD on shots, neutered, microchipped and HW (-). If you would like to meet Wren stop by Augusta Animal Services, 4164 Mack Lane Augusta GA during adoption hours, Mondays 12-7, Tuesday-Saturday 12-4. ?? ?? Out of my way, we’re going to space ?? ?? Amazing goofy-eared puppies are all the rage at AAS lately. Check out silly Sputnik! We don’t really know what all he’s mixed with. You’re welcome to guess! I think I see basenji, but he looks like he’ll be quite a bit bigger than one. Sputnik is all paws, ears, and love. His personality is PURE puppy. He likes to run around, meet new people, check out new toys, and enjoy life. Sputnik loves other dogs, but like a lot of high-energy puppies, his play style with other dogs does involve jumping on them - so your own doggo would need to be tolerant of goofball puppy antics. He is still young enough that introducing him to cats and making sure he is good with them will be on his adopter to do.
