Story
Meet, Gamora! A 2 year old, female, Bully mix. Gamora loves to play! Her favorite toys have squeakers in them but, if you give her a stuffed to she will shred it in record time! LOL She enjoys being brushed and petted, she will even lay like a frog so you can do a good job brushing her. Gamora loves to play in water so baby pools are a must as she likes to cool off in them and take her toys for a swim too! Gamora can be timid with new faces and once she is with you a short while she warms up pretty quickly! She would do best in a home with older children 16 and up as she can be too rough when she plays. Gamora needs to be your one and only pet as she does not do well with other animals so no going to the dog park with this one. Gamora needs a home with a 6 foot tall fenced yard as she is very athletic and can and will easily jump over a small fence being energetic she needs plenty exercise to run and play. She is crate trained so when you leave her alone you will need to crate her as she will be naughty while you are gone! Being a smart girl Gamora knows how to sit by verbal command or hand gesture. She can stand, lay down and is learning to go to her bed by and gesture too. Gamora is now ready to find her loving FUR-ever home. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).

Do you want the perfect companion? Look no further than Willow! This girl has it all: -house trained -crate trained -good with all dogs -good with cats -athletic with an off switch -very affectionate This girl has been with us since July, 2023 when she was found abandoned in a vacant apartment building. She was briefly adopted to a home as an ESA dog, but returned when the adopter lost her home. Since being back with us, Willow has been a gem! She is super sweet and loves to cuddle!! She also loves to play with toys and other dogs of all sizes. She also does well with cats! When meeting new people Willow can seem very exuberant, but this is something we are working on! She is house and kennel trained and also knows how to sit and jump up really high. She’s super athletic and would make the perfect companion for an active person or family. She walks reasonably well on leash and would not doubt love to be someone’s forever companion! Willow’s ideal home would be with someone she can go on adventures with, but also cuddle on the couch with as a Netflix and chill buddy! This girl has waited sooo long for her perfect family! If you think she could be the girl for you let us know!! She is up to date on vaccines and prevention, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and spayed. If you think Willow sounds like the perfect companion for you or someone you know, please fill out our application and/or email us at oasispetrescue@gmail.com

Story
Oreo is a pitbull mix who is 3 years old born Aug. 2, 2019. She’s very active and loves to play and take walks. She’s good with children and loves to cuddle. She may be a bit much at times with her energy but she is good with commands(sit/stay etc.) she needs a loving home who spends time with her and gives her love and attention. I do not recommend her to be in a home with other pets. She is okay with them but she’s an attention seeker and does not know/understand her weight(she sometimes thinks she’s a lap dog) but in all she is very loving. In the time I’ve had with her(2yrs) she has never bit or harm any other animal or child.

Story
Adopted from SPCA and was one of the ones who was there the longest at time . Since then unfortunately my situation has changed and I really don’t have enough time for him like I have. He’s 3 years old. Has been chipped twice. He’s an awesome dog, listens well, loves to play catch, loves tug-a-war, he’s not mean what so ever! When giving food by hand he takes it very carefully by the tip of his mouth. He’s great with kids just wants to play. I love him so much I just want a great family home for him. I only put a charge because I want to make sure he goes to a great home.

Story
Hello, I'm Justice, a two-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and resilience. Despite a rough start in life, I've blossomed into a gentle and playful girl who's ready to find a loving forever home. My name is JUSTICE for a reason after all. I may be small in size, often called a "pocket Pit Bull," but my affection knows no bounds. I thrive on cuddles, belly rubs, and giving kisses-nothing makes me happier than showering my human friends with love. Toys are another passion of mine; whether it's a squeaky ball or a chew toy, I'll happily engage in playtime for hours, then curl up next to you when it is time to relax. My playful spirit is matched only by my sweetness. I'm known for my gentle nature and patience, especially with those who show me kindness. I adore spending time with people, especially children. Their laughter and energy bring out the best in me, and I cherish every moment of play and companionship we share. While I love humans dearly, I can be a bit cautious around other dogs at first. It takes me some time to build trust with new canine friends, but with patience and slow introductions, I can learn to enjoy their company too. At two years old, I'm past the destructive puppy stage. I'm eager to learn new tricks and continue growing with positive reinforcement and guidance. I'm a loyal companion who's ready to bring joy and love into a forever family's life. If you're looking for a gentle and affectionate addition to your home, someone who loves toys, kisses, and cherishes children, then Justice is the perfect match for you. Come meet me, and let's create a lifetime of cherished memories together! Key Details: Name: Justice Breed: Pit Bull mix (pocket size) Age: 2 years Temperament: Affectionate, sweet, playful Loves: Toys, kisses, children Needs: Slow introductions to new dogs
