Story
Do you see this sweet face? How can you resist her? Brownie is looking for her forever home! She’s approximately 7-year-old Staffordshire mix and was originally rescued with her seven puppies. She was an incredible mama to her litter, who have all been adopted. She is a mellow girl, so appreciative of snuggles, and just happy to be near those who reciprocate her love. Brownie is house trained and learns quickly. She LOVES walks. Brownie loves to be near her humans, cuddling with them any chance she can. Brownie’s been through enough and has always cared for others—she’s ready to be spoiled and have a family all to herself. However, if you’re interested in adopting her and you have other pets, she would do best living with calm dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please reach out! She’s ready for you! Fenced in yard is a must. Must be experienced with the breed. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/brownie

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Rocky. Approximately 6 years old, Pit mix breed. He is loyal and loves attention from people. He is housebroken, obedient, and loves to run/walk outside and chase lizards. He needs leash walk training as he can pull. He prefers to be indoors most of the time. He is a great guard dog. He’s neutered and UTD on all shots. Prefers to be the only pet.  Not great with other dogs big and small (was never around cats), no small children. Rocky has a high prey drive. He can be good with another dog as long as he is introduced properly. He is not good with small children as they make him nervous. He did tolerate a little toddler sister that he loved because he grew up with her and was always supervised. Rocky needs a foster or better yet, a new forever home. Thank you for taking the time to read this! No medical conditions except for a seasonal ear allergy on occasion. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Huk's story is truly remarkable. He found himself in an overcrowded shelter and was unfortunately placed on a euthanasia list. However, just in the nick of time, Huk was saved and given a second chance at life. It's thanks to caring individuals like you that Huk now has the opportunity to find a loving forever family. Huk is an incredible dog with a big heart and a gentle nature. He has mastered the art of sitting and is currently working on his stay and wait commands. Huk's leash manners have been improving, making walks a pleasant experience. He also knows how to lay down and is beginning to understand the concept of stay. Despite being a couch potato and generally mellow, Huk enjoys going for runs and being active. While he is content on his own, it's important for Huk to have a meet and greet with any other furry friends in the household to ensure compatibility. He is eager to find a perfect companion to share his toys and adventures with! Huk has been to places like Lowes and pet stores and has interacted well with other dogs he has encountered. However, he may show some food aggression, so it's recommended to separate him during meal times. He's making a lot of progress. He's coming around really well. We learned he's NOT really cat aggressive, it was more him being anxious and reactive around cats. We slowly integrated him with indoor/outdoor cats. We believe he could potentially live with cats with a proper introduction. If you're searching for a loyal, loving, and gentle giant to be your new best friend, Huk is the perfect match! Let's help Huk find his forever family. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-application Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Mr. Wrigley's story is one of resilience and unwavering spirit. He didn't choose the circumstances he found himself in. He was merely a possession in a home where love and compassion were lacking. For eight long years, he lived with a family who saw him as an object, not a cherished companion. But when his family decided they no longer wanted him, Mr. Wrigley faced a fate no living creature deserves. They asked for him to be euthanized, but thankfully, no veterinarian would fulfill such a heartless request. Despite the neglect and mistreatment he has endured, Mr. Wrigley's spirit remains unbroken. He is a gentle soul, full of love and affection. He adores people and craves companionship. His friendly demeanor lights up the room, and his chill attitude is infectious. Wrigley gets along famously with dogs his size or smaller, but his past experiences have left him nervous around larger dogs. Yet, he's learning to overcome his fears, showing incredible resilience and determination every step of the way. However, there are some boundaries we must respect for Mr. Wrigley's well-being. He is not suited for a home with cats or small children. His last encounter with young children under the age of four was traumatic, as they pulled on his tail and tried to ride him. It's clear that Mr. Wrigley needs a nurturing environment where he can feel safe and loved, free from the fear of mistreatment. Mr. Wrigley has a sweet and gentle nature. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new places. He is looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cherished as a true member of the family. With the right environment and understanding, Mr. Wrigley is sure to thrive and bring joy to his new family. House and crate trained. Need a foster or adopter but need to secure one before receiving into the rescue.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Woof woof! It's me, Geno! I just wanted to take a moment away from my chew toys to tell you how much I love life and all the fun I am having now. I know I'm still learning some things, like how to sit when I'm asked and not to jump up with all this excitement inside me, but I promise I'm trying my best. Those treats you give me make it totally worth it—I mean, have you ever seen anyone so motivated for a snack? I know I get a little too excited on our walks sometimes, but it's just because there's so much to see and smell! And those kids—oh boy, I just want to play with them! I don’t mean to scare them when I jump, I’m just so happy to see them! I know you’re helping me learn to be calm, though. I’ll get the hang of it soon, I promise. Oh, and you know that Kong toy? The one you stuff with treats?! It’s my absolute favorite! The challenge of getting those treats out keeps me busy and makes me feel like the smartest dog ever. I might have had a rough start in life, but with you by my side, I feel like the luckiest pup in the world. I'm outgoing, I'm playful, and most importantly, I’ve got so much love to give. Thank you for checking me out. I can't wait for all the new tricks, treats, and adventures we have ahead of us! With all my love and a big slobbery kiss, Geno 🐾 Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.‍ ** All canine pets in home should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. Story
Hi, I’m Echo! I’m the goofiest boy with the cutest nose ever. I’m neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and only a year and a half old, so I have some energy and excitement to get out but I’m happy to relax and just hang out with my people too. My foster parents are working on building my confidence and basic training because I wasn’t taught these things growing up, but I’m learning really fast! I now know sit, stay, not to jump up on people to greet them, to take snacks gently, when to go to my crate and even to sit and wait at the door so I can be leashed for walks. I love to go for runs and car rides, chase lizards, chew on my toys and snuggle with my people. My foster parents tell me I can be “clingy”- I just love to be around them whenever and wherever I can! If I sound like I might be the guy for you, please reach out to my foster mom. Thanks for reading!

Story
Meet Anabelle Grace, a regal 3-year-old Terrier/Lab mix weighing 45 lbs. This lovely lady starts her day with an enriching breakfast, enjoying snuffle mats and puzzles that keep her mind active. After breakfast, she takes a graceful 20-minute walk where she shows off her excellent leash manners and calm demeanor. Annabelle enjoys a mix of crate time with her favorite treats (peanut butter!) and relaxing with her family. Though she's not overly cuddly, her gentle gaze speaks volumes of her love. She also enjoys pupsicles, car rides, and shopping outings. Anabelle Grace does best crated when left alone, as she can be a bit destructive otherwise. Elvis does have a food allergy, so he is on hypoallergenic food and treats which he does have a prescription for. Elvis is obsessed with toys and treats and plays well by his self. Story
Enzo is a 5 year old big baby. I adopted him from a neighbor 2 months after he was born. A ball of energy who loves to go on walks and even runs, if it is not too hot outside. He is very friendly and loves being around lots of people. Enzo enjoys laying up under you while you rub on his belly and back. He is completely potty trained. I am looking for a loving home that can provide him the attention and care he deserves. Because of my job, I am not able to be home with Enzo for most of the year and he is currently living with my dad who is no longer able to take care of him.

Story
Lola was born October 12, 2023. She has been with us for a while. She was very timid when we first brought her home. She eats really well. If I didn't tell you, you would think she does not eat twice daily. She consumes her food in 1-3 minutes every time. She needs a loving home where she can continue to thrive. We love Lola, but it is harder to maintain quality care with the rising costs of everything. I'm hoping during this season someone will consider giving her a home.

Story
Meet lovely, sweet Rose! She is such an affectionate, grateful, and happy girl. She loves playing fetch and she would have a toy in her mouth 24/7 if she could! She has the perfect pup smile and lights up any time you give her a head rub or pick up a toy to play with her. She would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play fetch with you. She loves going for walks and car rides. Sweet Rose loves to cuddle with humans and Iris on the couch (they might even lay on each other to get closer to you). She’s interested in cats but may scare them due to her excited nature. Meet beautiful Iris! She has a sweet, gentle nature and loves to play and wrestle with Rose. Iris needs a patient, understanding home with a predictable routine. She can be a little skittish in new or unfamiliar environments, but she has shown that she warms up to people rather quickly. She has the most expressive eyes and the cutest deer-tail (her little, excited tail wiggles are the best). She’s incredibly intelligent and learns quickly; she’d benefit from constant enrichment to build her confidence. Sometimes she’ll pick up a toy, look directly at Rose, and then run away, all because she wants Rose’s attention. She is potty trained, good with other dogs, and OK with cats. Iris would do best in a home with no small children. Adoption fee is for both dogs. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/iris-rose Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Freya has been through a lot in her young life. She was originally living with a homeless person who died so she ended up in a rural shelter. We saved her from euthanasia as she was exhibiting signs of stress!! She would suck on her tail for comfort. Freya was flourishing in a caring boarding facility where she is doing very well at learning to be a dog and have fun. She was in a temporary foster home with 2 dogs and a cat. She watches the cat and is very curious. With supervision there have been no issues, if our cat would run, no doubt she would chase it. She loves the attention from kids, best to be older, dog savvy - 10 years old + as she can be mouthy. Freya sleeps in a crate overnight with no fuss or accidents. Good walking on a leash with a harness. She taught herself to use the doggy door. Not bothered by thunderstorms. Freya will be going for board and train to set her up for success. She would love to go into her forever home after that. Training stars 8/31/24 until the end of September. If there is another dog in the home, it would need to be playful, high energy to match Freya. She would be too much for low-key dogs. On a day trip, taken out by one of our volunteers, they said: She was super sweet all day, barely tugged on the leash towards the end and didn’t act anxious at all. She loved hanging out next to the water at the few parks we went to and enjoys tug of war as well! She’s definitely a wind in her hair type of girl and likes her head out the window, also super curious with every flower she came across Freya is still just a baby learning the world isn't such a bad place.
