Story
Meet Annaliese: The Spirited Pup with a Heart of Gold! At around 6–12 months old, Annaliese is a sweet, strong, and energetic puppy who’s full of potential! She’s looking for a home ready to guide her with love, patience, and structure as she grows into the amazing dog we know she can be. Annaliese knows “sit” and is working on “off” and “down” with treats as motivation. She’s also learning house manners, including bell training for potty breaks and waiting for an invitation to join you on the furniture. She’s perfect in her crate and quiet as a mouse, though she’s a little protective if the cats get too close at night. Annaliese is non-stop fun right now and needs help learning how to “chill.” She loves exploring but is happy to snuggle once she’s burned off some energy. Annaliese’s strength and excitement could accidentally knock children over. She’s also working on her leash and car manners. She’s curious about her feline friends and needs guidance to learn gentleness. Annaliese is scared of corners and needs a family to help her feel safe. She’s also learning how to jump into the car on her own. Like any puppy, Annaliese loves to explore and sometimes finds things she shouldn’t chew on. With direction, she’s already making progress. Annaliese hasn’t had much interaction with other dogs yet but may do well with the right introduction. Annaliese’s growing every day—she just had her first cuddle session. She’s even learning to leave her ? alone (gross but true puppy behavior). Annaliese is full of love and personality, but she’s a work in progress. With someone willing to invest in her training and give her plenty of playtime and snuggles, she’s going to be the best companion. Ready to take on the adventure of raising a spirited pup like Annaliese? Apply to adopt her today! ?

Story
Do you see this sweet face? How can you resist her? Brownie is looking for her forever home! She’s approximately 7-year-old Staffordshire mix and was originally rescued with her seven puppies. She was an incredible mama to her litter, who have all been adopted. She is a mellow girl, so appreciative of snuggles, and just happy to be near those who reciprocate her love. Brownie is house trained and learns quickly. She LOVES walks. Brownie loves to be near her humans, cuddling with them any chance she can. Brownie’s been through enough and has always cared for others—she’s ready to be spoiled and have a family all to herself. However, if you’re interested in adopting her and you have other pets, she would do best living with calm dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please reach out! She’s ready for you! Fenced in yard is a must. Must be experienced with the breed. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoptable-pets/brownie

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Rocky. Approximately 6 years old, Pit mix breed. He is loyal and loves attention from people. He is housebroken, obedient, and loves to run/walk outside and chase lizards. He needs leash walk training as he can pull. He prefers to be indoors most of the time. He is a great guard dog. He’s neutered and UTD on all shots. Prefers to be the only pet.  Not great with other dogs big and small (was never around cats), no small children. Rocky has a high prey drive. He can be good with another dog as long as he is introduced properly. He is not good with small children as they make him nervous. He did tolerate a little toddler sister that he loved because he grew up with her and was always supervised. Rocky needs a foster or better yet, a new forever home. Thank you for taking the time to read this! No medical conditions except for a seasonal ear allergy on occasion. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Mr. Wrigley's story is one of resilience and unwavering spirit. He didn't choose the circumstances he found himself in. He was merely a possession in a home where love and compassion were lacking. For eight long years, he lived with a family who saw him as an object, not a cherished companion. But when his family decided they no longer wanted him, Mr. Wrigley faced a fate no living creature deserves. They asked for him to be euthanized, but thankfully, no veterinarian would fulfill such a heartless request. Despite the neglect and mistreatment he has endured, Mr. Wrigley's spirit remains unbroken. He is a gentle soul, full of love and affection. He adores people and craves companionship. His friendly demeanor lights up the room, and his chill attitude is infectious. Wrigley gets along famously with dogs his size or smaller, but his past experiences have left him nervous around larger dogs. Yet, he's learning to overcome his fears, showing incredible resilience and determination every step of the way. However, there are some boundaries we must respect for Mr. Wrigley's well-being. He is not suited for a home with cats or small children. His last encounter with young children under the age of four was traumatic, as they pulled on his tail and tried to ride him. It's clear that Mr. Wrigley needs a nurturing environment where he can feel safe and loved, free from the fear of mistreatment. Mr. Wrigley has a sweet and gentle nature. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new places. He is looking for a forever home where he can be loved and cherished as a true member of the family. With the right environment and understanding, Mr. Wrigley is sure to thrive and bring joy to his new family. House and crate trained. Need a foster or adopter but need to secure one before receiving into the rescue.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Woof woof! It's me, Geno! I just wanted to take a moment away from my chew toys to tell you how much I love life and all the fun I am having now. I know I'm still learning some things, like how to sit when I'm asked and not to jump up with all this excitement inside me, but I promise I'm trying my best. Those treats you give me make it totally worth it—I mean, have you ever seen anyone so motivated for a snack? I know I get a little too excited on our walks sometimes, but it's just because there's so much to see and smell! And those kids—oh boy, I just want to play with them! I don’t mean to scare them when I jump, I’m just so happy to see them! I know you’re helping me learn to be calm, though. I’ll get the hang of it soon, I promise. Oh, and you know that Kong toy? The one you stuff with treats?! It’s my absolute favorite! The challenge of getting those treats out keeps me busy and makes me feel like the smartest dog ever. I might have had a rough start in life, but with you by my side, I feel like the luckiest pup in the world. I'm outgoing, I'm playful, and most importantly, I’ve got so much love to give. Thank you for checking me out. I can't wait for all the new tricks, treats, and adventures we have ahead of us! With all my love and a big slobbery kiss, Geno 🐾 Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.‍ ** All canine pets in home should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. Story
“Champ” is a friendly well trained pit. He is a neutered male and adores attention. He was rescued from being found tied up at a gas station by my son 3 years ago. He was chipped but no registration. Per vet probably 4-5 yrs old. My son had to relocate and could not take Champ with him. I have had him with me for 4 months but it time for him for him to find his forever home. He is such good boy, very lovable and attentive. He is crate trained, his safe place, but also loves the sofa. When it is night time he goes to his crate and usually stays there all night. Champ is STRONG and needs a strong owner. He loves people but not sure of other dog tendencies. He does not like cats or aggressive little yippy dogs. Not sure about big dogs because he has kept him apart from them. But his tail does wag and he seems interested in them. He loves his walks and enjoys laying out in the sun.
