Story
Daisy is a sweet, playful pup full of energy. She's being fostered with a senior dog, and trying really hard to become friends, but he's no match for her energy. She did really well at her temporary fosters and her two foster siblings, who were closer to her in age. They took walks together, played and napped together. Daisy would love to have a playmate in her forever home. She's been working hard on mastering her leash skills, SIT, STAY, and keeping all for paws on the floor when meeting new people. She's a smart cookie. ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Yay! You clicked on me! See I'm a sweet, funny, and maybe a bit mischievous little girl but I'm also a bit shy with people I don't know, so I'm going to need you to make the first move and show me you're one of the good ones. Foster Mom says it doesn't take long before my worried face melts away and my tail starts to wag endlessly. She says I'm the perfect mix of puppy energy and adult chill. I love playing outside especially if there's a ball; soccer balls & rubber balls as big as my head are my favorite! I like to chase them and tackle them and sometimes I run so fast, I flip right over them! Inside, my favorite toys have treats in them and I can nose them around and chew on them while you work, so I don't distract you. Reasons why you should submit an application for me ASAP: I'm a great size and not planning to get much bigger. I have a great personality AND I'm cute, I mean look at me. How could you not fall in love with me? I HAVE SKILLS: I am housetrained and I will come to you when I need to go. I can sit on command. I take treats nicely. I can almost wait for permission to eat after my dish is put on the floor. I can sleep in a crate without fuss; though I prefer to have my own beddie near you. I'm working on my leash skills; bunnies & squirrels make me nuts; but I like pretty much anyone I meet. I'm a chewer, LOVE my chew toys, but haven't chewed a single thing in the house that wasn't mine; though I may take some of your things. I will help maintain your work life balance by occasionally taking your things when I decide you need a cardio break to chase me around the house. I'm curious about everything, so whatever you're doing, I'm there! I'm happy to be free & loved and excited for my future and sometimes I'm so excited I'm a little rambunctious. I'm also a gentle loving girl, ever grateful to be romping on this side of the rainbow. My dream life includes: - a playmate! Fur or human or both...living with two senior siblings is a drag. - a place to run with a ball the size of my head, of course! - toys & treats & a soft bed & most of all a family that will love me & keep me forever and ever no matter what. - you

Story
Sir Mix-A-Lot here! My foster family calls me Max. I am a 5 year old young man who loves to run, jump, play with squeaky balls, and most importantly to eat. I am still working on my basic manners and proper leash manners but I know with a lot of practice and treats I can do it! I am potty trained, sleep through the night, and love my people. Even though I am 5 years old I still have a TON of energy!! I love to run outside, play fetch, play with squeaky toys, and I am a very curious man. My foster mom thinks I might do best in a home with no young children because I love to jump when I'm excited. Before arriving at the shelter I lived in a home with a female dog my own age. My foster family has dogs and I am slowly getting to know them. Overall, my foster mom tells me I'm a handsome man and a good boy! I mean what more could you ask for? If you have a spot on your couch and lots of food I am your man.

Story
I adopted Bella in 2021 from Lynchburg Humane Society. She is six years old now. She is the sweetest and most loyal girl. She does take some time to warm up to people, but once she does, she will be your best friend. She loves cuddles, bones, and long walks. She has truly been a great blessing in my life, and I hope I can find someone who will love her as much as I have. I'm looking for an experienced adopter and a home without small children where Bella could be the only pet. Contact me if you're interested.

Story
We are sadly looking to re-home Ruthie, our beautiful, cuddly lapdog whose loud, ridiculous tail wags always bring a smile. We are heartbroken, but it’s become clear that she shouldn’t be in a home with a toddler or another dog. Ruthie is incredibly sweet and absolutely LOVES attention from adults- she is just too unpredictable to be around small children and unfortunately struggles with resource guarding around our older dog. She may do much better with older kiddos who are good with boundaries and have the energy to keep her busy. Ruthie is a big girl (70 pounds) but doesn’t know it and loves getting into our laps for pets. She is a huge fan of playing fetch outside but doesn’t really care for walks (very low maintenance lady!). Please reach out if you or anyone you know might be able to provide a more Ruthie-friendly home. We adore this girl and know she can thrive away from the stresses of having a little brother and a big sister to compete with.

Story
His previous owner was in the military and she was getting stationed elsewhere and was unable to take him so I took him in when he was 1. I got him neutered and microchipped. He currently is 6 and will be 7 on July 1st. I am looking for a new home for him because I recently had a baby and I am unable to give him the time I once did. He also does not get along with my one year old. He likes to cuddle. He likes to play with plushies and gets the zoomies when hes able to run outside. I think he should be in a home without children so he can thrive. He is very protective of his owner and obedient.

Story
Hello, I adopted Millie a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I soon will no longer be able to care for her. I was diagnosed with cancer recently and unexpectedly and I soon will not be able to care for her because of treatments. I would love for her to have a loving caring home. She is 11 Months old, she is still a baby. She is potty trained with No accidents - she is young still so she will need to go out more often than an older dog. She is loving and full of energy. She is great with dogs, cats, and children. Please help me give her a great life!

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained.
