Story
Luna is a spunky, energetic 6 year old pittie/staffie/boxer mix that loves to cuddle under warm blankets, fetch balls, take long walks, and could tug all day without getting tired. She enjoys car rides, hikes, and trampolines and will even cry when she sees one because she wants to play on it so bad. She is eager to please, and food motivated so could definitely learn new tricks. Luna has been with me all her life, she is the dog you get in your twenties that changes your life for the better and she has done that for me but life happens and families grow and unfortunately Luna requires a household with no other pets or small children. She would thrive with an experienced owner that can handle her unique behaviors and reactivity. Please give this beautiful girl a chance

Story
This is Guinness! He is a 5 year old pit bull mix looking for a quiet forever home! Guinness is a very sweet boy, loves to cuddle, and is neutral with cats. He absolutely LOVES toys, and will be rehomed with all of his favorite ones (which is quite a few)! If you enjoy an evening in with a large lap dog, he is the perfect buddy for you! Grab a good snack and drink, put on a movie and it'll be his perfect night. He is crate trained and housebroken as well, and goes in his crate with no issue at night to snuggle up with his blankets. He is a bit of an anxious boy, so he has been taking medication prescribed from the vet to help, and would love a home that is calm! All vet records will be transferred over once the adoption is completed. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He would do best in a home as the only dog, as he gets nervous around other male dogs. We are asking a rehoming fee to ensure that he goes to a good home!

Story
🐾 Meet Roscoe (aka Duck) – Your Wiggly, Happy-Go-Lucky Buddy 5 Years Old · 64 lbs · Male · American Pit Bull Terrier / American Staffordshire Mix Is it a bird? A plane? No, it’s Duck! This sweet, tan and white boy has a personality as big as his ears, and he’s ready to bring joy and cuddles to a forever home. When Duck first came to the shelter, he was stressed and scared. He lost weight, injured his face against his kennel door, and would spin in his kennel while barking at everyone who walked by. But as soon as Duck arrived in his foster home, he became a totally new dog. In his foster home, he has blossomed into a relaxed, happy, and affectionate companion. He loves snuggling into his crate for a cozy rest, playing with his foster brother, and greeting new people with wiggly excitement. He’s still learning not to jump up when he’s excited, but who could resist that enthusiasm? Duck has had limited, managed interactions with children and has done well, so with proper introductions and supervision, he could potentially live with kids. Duck enjoys walks and hikes, and while he had leash reactivity toward other dogs in his previous home, he walks very well next to his foster brother and seems comfortable with careful introductions. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and has even learned to use a doggy door in his foster home. What you should know about Duck: ✔️ Fully housebroken and crate trained ✔️ Walks well on leash next to his foster brother ✔️ Loves snuggling in his crate or on the couch ✔️ Playful with dogs after proper introductions ✔️ Gentle, happy, and wiggly when greeting people ✔️ Has done well with limited, supervised interactions with children ✨ Best suited for a home with adults or children who can match his excitement and provide love, structure, and plenty of snuggles. Roscoe (aka) Duck is currently in foster care, please call to schedule a meet and greet Caroline County Humane Society 407 W. Story
Meet Braxton: All the Chill, None of the Rush 9 years old ·Senior · Pit Bull Mix · 116 lbs · Neutered Male Hi, I’m Braxton! Life’s better when you take it slow, and I’ve mastered the art of relaxing. I’m happiest lounging in the sun, enjoying gentle walks, and soaking up all the love and good vibes around me. I’m currently on a weight-loss journey, so I’m following a food plan and taking it easy, unfortunately that means no extra treats for me right now but it’s all part of becoming the healthiest, happiest version of myself. Think of me like your personal “beach day”: calm, comforting, and always ready to kick back. I’m the type of dog to lounge with my doggie shades on, toes spread wide, and a pup cup in hand (well, of course, once I finish this diet and get my perfect summer beach body). I’m the ideal companion for anyone who appreciates long naps in the sun, slow strolls, and a steady, laid-back presence in the home. Braxton’s Highlights: ✔️ Senior Pit Bull mix, about 116 lbs ✔️ Neutered, fully vaccinated, calm and affectionate ✔️ Loves gentle walks, lounging in the sun, and cuddles ✔️ Prefers to live in a home with no high energy male dogs (has shown positive signs towards other dogs in playgroup like Demi, Randy, Moo Moo, Moonpie, etc.) ✔️ Low-effort, laid-back personality If you’re looking for a steady, loving companion who knows how to enjoy the little moments, I’m your laid-back buddy. Come meet me at the Caroline County Humane Society and see why life is just better with a chill pup like me. Come meet Braxton at Caroline County Humane Society! 407 W.
