Story
Cinnamon is a true Heinz 57! She is a sweet girl, around 9 months old, and 30 lbs. She loves ride in the truck/car, take long walks and play ball. She also loves to snuggle. She will sleep on your lap or next to you. When she goes to bed, she is out for the night. She is fully house trained, but can't free roam yet, since she is a puppy, and will chew on things she shouldn't. She is smart and understands when you tell her no. She can be vocal when she wants to play, or she is hungry. She sits and waits for food and takes snacks gently. She is good with the three dogs and cat in her foster home. She has no prey drive. She is good with her fosters chickens and the neighbors pigs. She ignores the squirrels and rabbits on walks or when she sees them in the fenced in yard. Sadly this sweet girl came to us very fearful. She has come a long way, is very sensitive. and still learning to trust humans. She is looking for a home where she will be loved, will get the patience she needs, and show her that there are good people in this world. She has come a very long way and she will continue to improve. She really wants a person of her very own and a furever home. She needs a home without small children, but would be ok with teens who are experienced dog owners and respectful. She would love to live with other dogs but would be fine as an only dog. She would be a great companion for someone looking for a best friend to adventure with. If you think that is you, please apply for her and come and meet her at her foster home in Loveland. She is available through Big Bones Rescue. Apply for her today!

Story
Meet Debbie, a gorgeous pittie momma with a personality that shines as brightly as her smile! At 3 years old and 51 pounds, Debbie’s journey from California with her puppies (all now happily adopted) has brought her to Colorado, where she’s ready to find her own loving home. Debbie lives for human attention—belly rubs, butt scratches, snuggles—you name it, she loves it. She will hang wherever in the house that you are- snuggling on the couch, curled up in the kitchen, if you’re there- she’s there! She’s also got a playful streak: she’s a true champion at “remodeling” stuffed animals and is a pro at training for treats (food motivated is an understatement). Potty trained and always aiming to please, Debbie is the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and fun-loving companion. She’s also friendly and playful with other dogs after a proper introduction but doesn’t love sharing her human with them when she’s snuggling. For this reason, we think she’d be best as an only dog in the home, or with a dog-savvy home willing to work on this (but she’d be happy to have play dates and dog friends!). On walks, once she burns off her zoomies, she walks nicely on a leash. While Debbie adores all humans, her exuberant butt-wiggles might be best suited for a family with older kids. This lovable mama is ready to wiggle her way straight into your heart. Debbie will promise to win your heart over quickly, so come and meet her today!

Story
Meet Van Gogh! A playful gent from Mississippi. He’s 5 years old, and sadly he ended up with Big Bones when his owner passed away unexpectedly, leaving him without a home. He loves all people, but he is a true Daddy's Boy! (His previous owner was a man). He’s neutered, kennel trained, and potty trained. He loves hanging out in the sun and playing with other dogs, and really appreciates a belly rub and a nice warm blanket to sleep with. VanGogh is good in the house, and can be a great couch potato! He has that big-dog play energy, so a home with a confident playmate would be ideal. He'd also be great as an only dog with someone who will take him on the occasional romp at the dog park. He is heartworm-positive, but has started treatment already and is fully paid for by a sponsor. Apply if you are interested in meeting your next hiking and Netflix buddy!! He is being fostered in Denver.

Story
Happy Go-Lucky and Care-Free!! Dreamer guessed to be a 1.5 yr old Pitbull, around 70 lbs. He is a hopeless optimist that's fun loving and bursting with energy. Although gentle and sweet as can be, his explosive energy can be overwhelming at first, but over time he settles in and there's no better play buddy. Dreamer needs an owner that is confident in themselves and patient with boundaries. His energy is not well suited for small children or the elderly, since he is very strong. He is great with other dogs and would love to have a playmate or at least someone that can help him burn some of his energy. Dreamer is good in a kennel, doesn't bark or dig. He does love to rip his stuffies up and chew on a good bone. Did I mention that his coat and coloring is to die for? Dreaming of that good 'ole boy? Dreamer is that guy! He is waiting in Wellington.

Story
We rescued Lola as a puppy from a friend who fostered a litter from the weld county humane society. She is now 2 years old house trained, high energy loves to play and go for runs and walks. She's very smart knows the basic like sit and shake and can learn lots more. We have an older dog that she has been recently picking on. We don't have a big yard so she would love a home with a big fenced in yard to run around in freely. She loves hikes and going to the mountains and running in water. We are not asking for a rehoming fee just a good home as soon as possible as this incident scared our daughter. Would prefer some take rather than surrendering to the humane society. She is highly interested in cats, but never been around them aside from barking at the window. She has been great with our kids but is high energy which might be alot for littles.

Story
Meet Bonnie, a bright and affectionate puppy with the perfect mix of intelligence and sweetness. Always curious, she tilts her head adorably when you talk, as if she's trying to understand every word. Her clever nature shines through in playful problem-solving, like figuring out how to retrieve a toy from behind the couch. Bonnie isn’t just smart—she’s also incredibly loving. She loves nuzzling up for cuddles, wagging her tail, and gazing at you with her warm, soulful eyes. With her sharp mind and even bigger heart, Bonnie is a joy to train, play with, and cherish. She’s ready to be your loyal companion and bring endless love into your life! Bonnie is a 2-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Bonnie is also tested with other dogs, children, and cats. She's in foster care learning potty and kennel training. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *Our annual Deck the Paws adoption event will be held on December 21 from 11am-1pm at Maxline Brewing (2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins, CO 80525). We will not be hosting an event on Saturday, December 28 and will offer private adoption appointments December 22-31. Happy Holidays!* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Available to the right adopter, who either has experience with scared dogs, or is willing to continue with her training. Ellie is a precious Boxer mix, that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy and scared dogs. She is guessed to be under 1 year old. She is absolutely adorable and her eyes will melt your heart but she is still pretty shy. Her foster mom thinks she would do better in a quiet home with adults or older children to work with her. Another confident dog could be helpful, but not necessary. She is dog friendly. Her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced slowly and properly. She will need an adopter, who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your family. She deserves all the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. (By the way, there is also discounted support/specialized training available in Fort Collins for owners of scared dogs) Her foster mom is located in Loveland, Colorado.

Story
Meet Jared, aka Jare-bear -- a 4 month old mixed breed pup. He is an active boy who loves to play, chew on rope toys, and squeakers. He recently discovered retrieving and his foster thinks he might enjoy learning to fetch. He is a total lover-boy-- he dives into his foster's lap and his back leg goes crazy when you reach that perfect itch. He loves to push his head beneath your hand for ear-skritches, and look up at you with his chocolate brown eyes, to hear what a good boy he is. In his foster house, Jare-bear happens to be the biggest dog. To overcome the resident dogs' apprehensions, he has mastered the low play bow, to make himself small around the other tiny dogs in the house. He has a 66% success rate (with two of the three dogs). The one hold-out is an 18 year old chihuahua who, frankly, only likes one person and zero dogs. When adopted, he might need more adjustment time around larger dogs since he hasn't had as much exposure. Regardless, Jared is 100% a good boy and would love a forever home for the new year. Could that be you? Jared is fostered in Windsor, CO. Apply to meet this handsome boy.
