Story
Hi there, I’m Marilyn but my foster family calls me ‘Bean’ (do I look like a pinto bean to you?).   My foster mom says I have a happy heart and help her relax cause I’m so mellow and don’t even bark!  All I know is I’m about 5-years old and love snuggling, playing in the yard, sitting for treats (especially peanut butter, yum!) and going for car rides and walks.  I also love all the people & kids we meet on our walks!  I’m getting more confident when I meet their dogs, too!   I’m totally house trained, great at walking on a leash and best at neighborhood squirrel patrol!  When everyone leaves the house, I don’t get upset, I just take a nap for a few hours and wait until they get home – then, they call me “wiggly-butt”!!  I’d love to be your dog, so I can help you relax and get all the cuddling and belly rubs you can give =)   When you come to meet me, I hope you’ll let me curl up next to you for some love (and maybe a little peanut butter too)!! ##2008436##

He loves his walks but needs work since he just wants to go and check out everything. He is getting better with every walk.  He can be described as a ball of energy! Not the biggest fan of his crate but I think he just doesn't like being by himself. I Love to cuddle! Come check him out at our next adoption event. ##2059827##

Story
Tommy is a sweet, energetic morning pup with a quirky charm—one ear always stands up, even when he’s sleeping, and his beautiful eyes will look longing into yours! He loves cuddling on the couch, playing with his foster brothers, and zooming around the backyard. Fully potty-trained with a doggy door, he’s smart, working on learning commands and improving on the leash with every walk. Tommy enjoys playing with doggie toys, chewing on bones, and showing off his impressive speed. He’s excellent with kids and other dogs but would do best in a cat-free home since he finds them very tempting to chase and bark at (but doesn’t at other dogs or noises). He does awesome in his crate for bedtime and when we are away. Tommy is super friendly, loves meeting new people, and has a tail that never stops wagging. He thrives in a fun, active environment and loves being part of all the action in the house. Tommy’s loyalty and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion who’s always eager to please. He doesn’t shed very much and loves to be brushed. Whether on a hike, a run, or lounging at home, Tommy is ready to bring endless joy, love, cuddles, and energy to his forever family. ##2221302##

Story
Hamlet is so good and well mannered for how curious and young he is! He enjoys long walks and being off leash in open fields to zoom around, but he does get a little distracted and likes to sniff around. He goes potty (for the most part) outside, but he is very good about going on the pee pads if not. I think, with a backyard, he would exclusively go outside. He is fairly good about chewing on his bone or his toys instead of furniture or personal items. He has spurts of energy throughout the day, but he loves naps and cuddles! He loves human touch and is very friendly with people. He is not aggressive or violent at all, and he’s working to get over his shyness over other dogs or cats. Sometimes when walking outside, he’ll get overwhelmed and will jump up so he can get a hug from you; and then he carries on! Again, he’s shy but friendly around other animals, so the few times he’s been around other house cats or dogs, he’s cautious and curious. I don’t see him having a problem with other animals in the household. He can get whiny or upset over food, specifically when you or others are eating and he’s not, but he gets preoccupied when given something to naw on. He knows how to “sit” and “stay”, which I’ve been doing before he gets his food, and he’s working on “down” and “shake”. Again, super smart! He loves to fetch and play keep away.He tends to bark when he’s whiny about food, when strangers come to the door, or when strangers come aggressively towards you on walks, but that’s about it. Hamlet doesn’t bark too much, and when he does, it’s only for those three reasons. ##2221268##

Story
***Out-of-Town Pet*** McLovin is currently in Crosby TX but is available to be transported to his forever home! Allow me to introduce you to McLovin, a charming and spirited pit bull-lab mix who will celebrate his 2nd birthday this coming January. He has a striking pure white coat adorned with tiny black dots at the very tips of his ears, which adds a unique touch to his appearance. More than just a pretty face, McLovin possesses an incredibly sweet disposition and a lively personality that makes him a joy to be around. McLovin's journey began when we rescued his mother from the streets, just one week before she gave birth to a litter of nine adorable puppies. From day one, we have lovingly cared for McLovin, who is the last remaining puppy from his litter. Unlike his siblings, who all found their forever homes through various adoption events hosted by another rescue, McLovin was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned to us after only a few days. His new adopters felt that he was experiencing depression and insisted it was best to bring him back. However, it's important to understand that this response was completely normal; having spent his whole life in our care, McLovin was simply struggling to adjust to a new environment. In hindsight, it seems that it was fortunate for McLovin that he was returned, as it became clear that his previous adopters did not possess the patience or understanding required for a deaf dog. This handsome and lovable boy is now in search of a dedicated forever home where he can thrive and grow alongside a caring family. Despite his deafness, McLovin is not held back in any way. He is an energetic and playful dog who enjoys frolicking in the yard and exploring his surroundings. He eagerly engages with new friends, both human and canine. McLovin has an impressive eagerness to learn, and he responds enthusiastically to my silent commands communicated through hand signals. He has mastered several tricks, including sitting on command and giving high fives. Although he makes a genuine effort to stay in one spot when asked, his affectionate nature often leads him to seek out cuddles, hugs, and kisses, which is a testament to his loving spirit. Finding McLovin a remarkable and patient forever home is my ultimate goal, as he has so much love to give. If you are interested in bringing this sweet boy into your home and heart, please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or to arrange a meet-and-greet. Thank you for considering giving McLovin the loving family he truly deserves! If you're ready to welcome this sweet, handsome boy into your home, please fill out the form through the link below, and we’ll get back to you promptly. https://form.jotform.com/241765023842152 As part of our adoption process, we are committed to ensuring that this is the perfect match for both you and the animal. Finding your forever best friend is our priority, and we appreciate your trust in us to facilitate this important decision. When introducing other animals in your home, we strongly recommend a thoughtful and gradual approach with all of our rescues. Keep in mind that not all dogs will get along. They have their own preferences, just like people do. The same goes for interactions with children; it's crucial to prevent overwhelming the adopted animal during the first meetings. Take the time you need to assess how they interact. Please be aware that all adoption fees are classified as donations to support our mission and organization. If the dog is returned for any reason, the donation will not be refunded, as we will incur costs for their transportation back to us. Thank you for your understanding and for making a difference in the life of a rescue animal!

Story
Meet Bones, a survivor who embodies resilience and hope. This brave pitbull has overcome unimaginable trauma, emerging not with bitterness, but with an incredible capacity to love. Rescued from a horrific situation where he was abandoned alongside his siblings, Bones was the only one who survived unthinkable conditions - locked in a bathroom, drinking toilet water, and witnessing the tragic loss of his family. Despite experiencing the worst of human cruelty, he still believes in the goodness of people. Bones carries his past with courage, not fear. His spirit remains unbroken, and he's ready to transform his story from one of survival to one of healing and love. He's looking for a patient, compassionate family who understands that his journey is about rebuilding trust and finding safety. Bones doesn't just need an owner; he needs a hero who will show him that not all humans cause harm, and that love can truly heal all wounds. Can you help him find his final home?

Story
Hi, I'm Faith! I was found with my sister, Hope, laying in the street, starving and dehydrated. Thankfully, our foster mom rescued us, and now I'm getting a chance to experience what it means to just be a puppy. I'm about 6 months old, and even though my life started with challenges, l'm full of love, hope, and resilience. I've already learned how to walk on a leash, sit, and even do the "touch" command! I recently discovered how much fun playing with toys (and my sister) can be. I love long walks, chewing on my favorite toys, and-most of all-being hugged and pet by my foster human. I'm very affectionate and would thrive in a home with a warm, active family who can give me the love and attention I deserve. I'm crate-trained, though I really enjoy lounging around the house or exploring the yard. Since I grew up on the streets, I'm still learning to trust the world around me. Sometimes, I might bark at a delivery person or passing dog, but with patience and guidance, l'm sure to grow into the most loving and protective fur baby you could ever ask for. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who's ready to love you endlessly, I'm your girl! Will you be my forever home? Faith is currently in San Antonio, Texas, waiting for a committed adopter or foster to make the journey up to Colorado. ##2257345##
