Story
Luther is a sweet and goofy puppy; he loves to play with balls, chew on bones, and roll around in the grass. He gets along well with other dogs (loves to play!), and is very respectful of the resident cat (he finds him a little scary and gives him a lot of space). Luther loves people, including the toddler human. Like any typical puppy, he is still learning not to jump up and lick small humans, but he is learning quickly and trying his best to contain his excitement! Luther is kennel trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. He walks well on a leash and loves going on adventures. He has been doing great with house training and hasn't had an accident yet. He is very food motivated and learns quickly when there are treats involved. Apply today to meet this sweet, goofy boy!
Luther is a 5-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Luther is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is also potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
