Story
Miles has been a foster here at Buddy's House for almost 4 months. He is a 6 year old Grey American Pitbull. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico just two days from his set euthanasia. He was found with skin cancer and had been given up on, but our people took him in. The cancer was removed, but it was very aggressive and has unfortunately grown back. He will have it removed again in a few weeks. Despite everything Miles has been through, he has never let it show. He is goofy, loving, and has so much life left to live. Miles has the kindest soul and is so very gentle. He loves other dogs, toys, treats and people. He also loves his kennel and burries himself in the blankets. Like most pitbulls, Miles has been overlooked a lot. He has been patiently waiting for his turn while cheering each of his friends on as they find their forever homes. He has so much love to give and deserves a home that will give him the same. We would love nothing more than to see this sweet boy find his home, so Buddy's House is sponsoring his adoption fee.

Meet Roo! This sweet boy may be shy and nervous in the shelter, but once he settles into a home, his true personality shines through. Due to his nervousness in new environments he will need to go to a home with no children under the age of 12. Roo is an energetic, happy pup who loves to be around his people. He’s a great companion and enjoys hanging out close to those he trusts. Roo knows his basic commands and is learning to walk like a pro on a harness, making him a joy to take on daily adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will thrive in a fun, loving environment, Roo just might be your perfect match!

Wyatt is a 5-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Wyatt is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. Wyatt is not tested with cats and is working on potty training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Luther is a sweet and goofy puppy; he loves to play with balls, chew on bones, and roll around in the grass. He gets along well with other dogs (loves to play!), and is very respectful of the resident cat (he finds him a little scary and gives him a lot of space). Luther loves people, including the toddler human. Like any typical puppy, he is still learning not to jump up and lick small humans, but he is learning quickly and trying his best to contain his excitement! Luther is kennel trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. He walks well on a leash and loves going on adventures. He has been doing great with house training and hasn't had an accident yet. He is very food motivated and learns quickly when there are treats involved. Apply today to meet this sweet, goofy boy! Luther is a 5-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. From his amazing foster: "Ghost is such a loving handsome dude with the cutest freckles! He has so much love for the outdoors and is the perfect Colorado pup and companion to explore the beautiful mountain trails with. He loves long walks/runs and car rides. When he is not outside, he loves to entertain himself with a rubber Kong ball/wobble ball and some other strong toys that let him use his strength and brain. He is overall the best dog for an active household. While he love an adventure, he also loves to cuddle, and despite not being a small pup, he will find a way to be the best lap dog. He is great with most pups, with a proper introduction, but may not fit the best in a home with a cat. Ghost is such a lover and is loyal. He is super trainable and has some fun skills that just need some dusting off." Ghost is a wonderful adult! He can be a but more shy meeting new people at the start but is building his confidence more and more each day! He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking to continue to build his confidence and is willing to be patient with him. ADOPTION FEE: $425.00 From his current foster: "Ghost is a wonderful adult! He can be a but more shy meeting new people at the start but is building his confidence more and more each day! He would make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking to continue to build his confidence and is willing to be patient with him." From his previous foster: "Ghost is a handsome boy who loves to play. He enjoys playing fetch, but is also good when it comes to quiet and relaxation time. Ghost would love a home where he can play with other dogs, but not with cats. Ghost is trainable and loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. He is loyal to his people and can curl up and relax near them or in his kennel and be comfortable. Ghost is the perfect boy looking for his perfect home." Playgroup - https://youtu.be/Ad7FMCGKZjI Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/sZmSbHoxGjY?feature=share Previous Staff notes - Such a handsome boy that has stunning freckles, a great smile, basic obedience, and social skills! He loves other dogs and is a social butterfly! He knows to sit, takes treats gently, seems potty trained, and is an absolute pleasure to spend time with! We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Story
ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Blaise, this sweet adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From her wonderful foster 12/9: "Blaise -she wants all of your love and has soooo much love to give in return! She's going so well with potty training, hasn't had any accident in foster, she's doing really well with crate training, can spend time and sleep in crate but would so much rather be with her people -walks well on a leash, just needs gentle reminders that dogs and people aren’t enemies. On the other hand, I feel incredibly safe when walking with her at night -she’s a wonderful protector of the home, and tells newcomers that they need a good sniffing before they can come in. And then after 5 seconds she’s wagging her tail and showing her belly -she’s a brown velvet hippo with the prettiest brindle pattern that shines in the sun -dog selective: needs slow introductions. she loves her doggy friends and would love a sibling, so it’s important that her new person is a patient owner that can learn and understand her boundaries ***trying to figure out how to word this best -would love a backyard to run and play in -her favorite spots to sit are right next to you or on the top corners of couches (like she’s a little dog haha) -is a very silly goofball -she would prefer not to share her toys so it’s important that there aren’t toys laying around if there’s another dog in the home -she’s not destructive at all, but needs some activity to stimulate her very smart brain -has great recall once she trusts you ❤️❤️❤️" From her amazing foster: "Blaise is doing great! we came home and I feel like she had a new level of trust with our dogs, she has been trying to engage in play with them more and sit side by side without as much grumbling. She just needs to be guided to succeed with her doggie friends!" Bio- Blaise is a loving and smart girl who is affectionate and gentle with people. She is a well-behaved and sweet dog who is great with other dogs. She's a sweet mama dog who weaned her pups and deserves a beautiful home to call her own. She is a delight to be around and is very good on her leash. She catches treats, knows how to sit, and is an obedient and playful girl who loves her squeaky toy. She loves going on walks and playing with her canine friends. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side, Blaise is the perfect girl for you. Here is a heartwarming story about Blaise, who despite being a sweet and gentle mother to her pups, has found herself without a home. This affectionate and smart girl has proven herself to be an incredible companion, beloved by everyone she meets. From her affectionate nature to her gentle and playful spirit, Blaise has captured the hearts of her friends and family. Unfortunately, life hasn't always been easy for this deserving girl, but we're confident that her loving nature and good behavior will help her find the perfect home. With her sweet disposition and friendly attitude, Blaise has proven herself to be an excellent companion for both humans and other dogs. She is always eager to please and is an intelligent girl who has already learned several basic commands. Not only is she a loving and loyal friend, but Blaise is also an incredibly playful pup who loves everyone she meets. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to add to the family, Blaise is waiting for you!
