Story
Introducing Radar: Your Future Best FriendHey there, I`m Radar, and I`m on a quest to find my forever home! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I`m a dashing young lab/pitty mix, and I`ve been lucky enough to find a temporary haven in Anaheim with some awesome foster parents who saved me from the shelter. One of my favorite pastimes is soaking up the sun. You`ll often find me sprawled out in the yard, basking in the warm rays and keeping an eye on the world around me. Birds are fascinating creatures, and I can`t resist chasing them – it`s my own little game of tag with the sky.I`ve got a foster sister who`s my partner in crime. We engage in epic tug of war battles, and it`s all in good fun. I`m crate-trained, and I`m diligently working on my leash manners. You can count on me for basic commands like `come,` `sit,` `stay,` and `down.` House training? Yep, I`m getting the hang of it, and I even know how to use the doggie door like a pro.Toys are my jam! I could spend hours playing with them, and I`m always up for a game of fetch or chase. Plus, I`m a total foodie. If you`ve got treats in your hand, you`ll have my full attention – training me is a breeze.I`m not the type to go off on my own adventures. I prefer to stick close, explore the front yard, and be a part of the action with my humans. I`m selective when it comes to other dogs, so if you already have furry friends at home, introductions are a good idea. But let me tell you, I`m the perfect addition to any loving home. I`m eager to please, and I`m overflowing with affection. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who`ll stand by your side through thick and thin, that`s me!If you`re interested in meeting me, I`m available for meetups in Ventura County or near SPARC`s facility on weekends. Let`s plan a meet-and-greet, and I promise you won`t be disappointed. Together, we can create some positive memories and fill your life with endless love and tail-wagging happiness. So, what do you say? Will you be the one to give me my forever home?

Story
Ever want a dog that’s assertively affectionate? One that loves water enough to jump in the shower with you if you’re not paying attention? Maybe a lovable snoring bed hog? Then Lightning is the dog for you! We adopted Lightning a while ago with another dog named Bolt. Get it?! Lightning and Bolt! They’re two awesome pit bulls that can’t get enough cuddles, and we’d love to re-home them together, but understand if it’s not possible. Our kids are getting older and we’re just not home as much as we used to be. It was a tough decision, but ultimately we know these dogs deserve a family that can be with them more. They both know basic commands like “sit” but could use some more training, especially leash work. They’re good with older kids and other large dogs. But a bit too big and clumsy for young children and small pets. Whether you adopt one or both, these girls are ready for their next adventure with their new furr-ever family!

Story
Natasha`s got the cutest smile - plus she`s always so excited to get out and play with her humans! Stuffed toys are her favorite. She seeks affection from people but may prefer slow introductions to other dogs. @vcanimalservices You may recognize Natasha from previous posts. Sadly, this one is a plea for help. ?? Natasha is the sweetest little soul who loves curling up in a ball and playing with stuffies. She’s been in and out of our care for several years with recurring skin cancer. She recently underwent a second surgery to remove some masses on her belly, which may return. Ongoing treatment is not feasible in shelter and frankly - isn’t a good life for this girl. What Natasha really needs is a loving home with someone who will manage her sun exposure and monitor her skin closely. She has done well with dogs of a similar size, but needs a home with no small animals. We are hoping someone with a heart for pitties is willing to take on Natasha. Please come meet this little sweetie and give her a chance. ?? open to an adopter or rescue. Located in Camarillo, CA. ? not a lot, just forever - Adrianne Lenker

Hello there, My name is Lola, I am a 6-year-old Boxer/ Pitbull mix and I`m here to share myself with you.You see, my heart is like a treasure chest – filled with potential, love, and the promise of a beautiful connection. I`ve had my share of challenges, but I`m ready to open up and show you the sweet, loving side that`s been waiting to shine.I am cautious around strangers, especially men, and prefer to live in a household with only adults as children make me nervous. I believe in the power of patience, kindness, and the possibility of healing. With the right approach, I know I can learn to trust and open my heart to the right person. A home where understanding and compassion thrive, creating an environment where I can truly flourish.Contact SPARC to set up a meet-and-greet – let`s create a chapter of our tale that`s filled with understanding, patience, and the promise of a connection that heals and uplifts. I`m here, ready to take the first step toward a brighter future with you. Let`s make this heartwarming journey together!

Woof, hey there! I`m Roxy, your soon-to-be best furry friend. Picture this: a Bull Terrier mix with a tail that wags like crazy and big, soulful brown eyes that`ll melt your heart in an instant. Yeah, that`s me!I`m all about the good times. Long walks? Oh, you betcha! There`s nothing like trotting around, taking in all the smells and sights the world has to offer. But let me tell you, my absolute favorite thing is snuggle time. Couch, bed, floor – I`m not picky. As long as I`m close to my humans, life is perfect. Now, about my social scene. I`ll admit it, I`m a one-and-only kinda dog. I shine brightest when I`m the center of attention, soaking up all the love and belly rubs. Other dogs? Nah, not really my jam. I`d thrive best in a home where I can be your numero uno pup. Here`s the exciting part: a play date! Yep, you read that right. You and me, hanging out at SPARC, getting to know each other better. I`ve got this feeling that we could be the best forever friends – the kind that goes on amazing adventures, has endless cuddle sessions, and just enjoys life to the fullest. So, what do you say? Let`s make this play date happen and see if our hearts sync up. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion who`ll always be there with a wagging tail and a smile, I`m your girl. Can`t wait to meet you and start our epic journey together!

Story
ECHO…Echo…echo… just like the sounds that bounce off canyon walls, this fun and zippy girl likes to bounce around too! She is one spunky spitfire with the smarts to go with! Sweet and petite (she looks way bigger in her photos but is really only 53 pounds tall) she is a go getter and LOVES to have fun. Her love language? Sniffaris. She really enjoys walks and hikes where she can explore her environment. She loves to watch the world and all the exciting things happening in it! She would make a great sport partner for someone who is willing to keep her focused and make it fun for her. Some thoughts on this? Disc, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving – she is fast, agile and willing. She loves to learn and try new things. She also loves to run and jump! Her nickname? Dinosaur. Sometimes she likes to walk on two legs. (Is there a dog sport where this might come in handy?) Echo was surrendered to a high-volume shelter in LA when her family decided they couldn’t keep up with her energy. Unfortunately, this is a common path for many high drive dogs, and when they get to the shelter with nothing to do, their energy doesn’t dissipate, so unless someone is ready for a skyrocket (which we are) an amazing dog like this gets passed up. We love her drive and energy and look for exactly those qualities, however, Echo is a girl with not only many talents, but many interests too, so she wanted to do other things besides just work. Although she’s not a super snuggle bunny, once she connects with you, she shows you how truly special she is and will try so hard for you! If you are looking for a funny, athletic, enthusiastic and special partner, this girl is for YOU…You…you!
