Story
Kola and Kricket are not just any dogs; they are a bonded pair duo with a story that deserves to be told. After being adopted in 2016, they spent eight wonderful years in a loving home. Sadly, their world was turned upside down when their beloved owner passed away, leading them back to the shelter and leaving them searching for a chance at a new beginning. At 13 years old, Kola has seen a lot in his life. He may be a senior, but his spirit is as vibrant as ever. With a heart full of love, he craves connection and is always eager to engage with those around him. Kola is a gentle giant, known for his playful nature and his love of belly rubs. He embodies the resilience that comes with time, reminding us all that joy can be found no matter the circumstances.Kricket, his devoted sister, is 11 years old and has a calm demeanor that perfectly complements Kola`s playful energy. While she may take a little longer to warm up, once she does, her affection knows no bounds. Kricket has stood by Kola’s side through thick and thin, offering him comfort and companionship throughout their journey. She is a testament to the bond that can only exist between a bonded pair, and together, they have faced life`s challenges head-on.Kola is Kricket`s main squeeze, but we recently introduced her to some other calm male and female dogs and she did just fine.   Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Story
My adoption fee is waived!Shauna is a 2 years, medium energy, bully-type dog. At about 60lbs, She is the perfect size for a family dog! She loves people of all ages and sizes, and is currently in foster care with 3 and 7 year old children. She loves to give kisses and wiggles with her whole body, so she might overwhelm very young or timid children. She is also in foster with a low-key, large, male dog, and while she doesn’t want to actively play with other dogs, she’s satisfied with coexisting. She has not been tested with small dogs or cats.  She is crate trained, and spends the day in her crate while her foster family is at work. She will sleep quietly in her crate at night, but would be glad to cuddle in bed as well. She knows basic commands like sit and shake, walks well on leash, and is house trained. She is treat motivated,  smart and eager to please! She enjoys walks, car rides and playing ball. She also likes just hanging out around the house, and will happily cuddle up to you on the couch if given the opportunity. She is just waiting for the perfect family to spoil her!Shauna has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:Shauna is in foster care!  If you are interested in meeting her please contact her foster mom at slshintaku@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Reiki, a stunning brindle pittie mix with a heart as gentle as her name suggests. This sweet girl has an easy, mellow energy that makes her a joy to be around. While the busy shelter environment can feel overwhelming for her, she’s coming out of her shell and showing her affectionate side. Reiki loves gentle pets and leans in for attention once she feels safe. She’s looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and love she needs to truly shine. Story
From Bruce`s foster mom: I`ve had the Pleasure of fostering Bruce since Feb 15. He was a medical foster, due to a condition called Carpal Hyperextension, in both front legs. In a nutshell, due to mainly malnutrition, he appeared to walk on his wrists, flat footed, and bow legged. With proper nutrition, massage and exercise, he has greatly improved. Bruce is a Big Lovebug. We were recently at an event at the convention center. He stole the show with his quiet puppy energy. He loves to be pet and  receive belly rubs. He enjoys playing with his big and little foster siblings. Loves toys. Bruce would fit in most any type of family. He is not yet housebroken. Respectful of cats. Sleeps in an x-pen all night since day one. If interested, please contact email Bradshaw Animal Shelter, or foster Sandy at gypsyredsc@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Desert Rose, a 10-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as the desert sky. Life hasn’t been the easiest for this sweet senior—her skin is a bit rough, her joints a little stiff, and the hard shelter floors aren’t doing her any favors. But beneath her tired exterior is a spark that refuses to go out. At first, Desert Rose seemed unsure in the shelter, but then we saw it—the wiggle. A little tail wag, a playful bounce in playgroup—proof that there’s still joy left in her soul, waiting to be nurtured. She may have more years behind her than in front of her, but she deserves to spend whatever time she has left in a warm, loving home, not a kennel. Desert Rose doesn’t ask for much—just a soft bed, a kind hand to soothe her, and a heart willing to cherish her golden years. If you’ve ever dreamed of giving a senior dog the love they deserve, she’s waiting for you. Let’s not let her story end in a shelter. This sweetie girl recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  She  wasn`t interested in playing but was patient sharing her space with the rambunctious youngsters.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
