Story
Willow is a great dog. She loves people and kids. I would suggest older kids because of her size. Someone abandoned her on Willow Pass and just left her to fend for herself.. I picked her up knowing I wasn't able to keep her so she wouldn't get hit by a car on the street.. I had met a lady and her kids in Petco and she pondered the idea of willow and also took her in till she was unable to care for her..she in turned found someone who wanted her and she and her husband had her for two years till they let her loose on the streets of Bay Point and getting scooped up to the pound... Willow has a lot of energy and needs lots of space inside and out.. She gets along with other dogs she loves to go for walks , runs, and car rides is a favorite. she doesn't like to be left alone for to long. she needs to find the right person and place and I'm trying to help her find that.. I would hate to take her back to the pound..

She gets along great with other dogs and is super kind to all people. Bimba is crate-trained, walks well on the leash, and enjoys car rides. Story
Meet Our Adorable 8-Week-Old Scruffy Pitty Mix Puppies! Meet Oliver, the cutest black and white little boy! This irresistible litter of six pint-sized pups is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, with a heartbreaking beginning that makes their bright futures even more special. These babies, along with their 55-pound blue-and-white pitty mom, were dumped in a box overnight during a rainstorm at a local shelter. Thanks to quick action, they were brought into foster care immediately. Another rescue took two of their siblings, leaving these six little ones in our care. What We Know About Them: - Breed Guess: Mom is a gorgeous pitty, and while dad is a mystery, DNA tests are on the way! Their scruffy coats make us think dad might have been a poodle, terrier, or even a Jack Russell. - Size: Currently 5 pounds, we estimate they’ll grow to be medium-sized, around 30 pounds when fully grown. - Coat Colors**: Half the litter is black and white, and the other half is chocolate and white. Their short, stocky builds and scruffy fur make them utterly unique! Why They’re Special: These pups are full of personality—playful, curious, and full of life despite their rough start. They’re true blank slates, ready to learn and thrive with families who are prepared to provide love, structure, and training. Ready for Homes Soon! They’ll be ready to go home at the end of January once they’re spayed or neutered. However, they’ll need to finish their vaccine series over the next month before they can safely explore public spaces. What They’re Looking For: Committed Families: These puppies need adopters who understand the pitty breed and are committed to raising breed ambassadors. Ongoing training and socialization are a must to help them grow into confident, well-mannered adults. Active Homes: They’re spunky and energetic, so they’d do best in homes with yards (no apartments) and ideally as second dogs to help them learn the ropes. Training Plans: These pups haven’t had any formal training yet but are incredibly smart and eager to learn. Families with a training plan already in mind will set them up for success. Why They’re Worth It: These babies have already shown resilience and a will to thrive despite their rough beginnings. With the right love and guidance, they’ll leave their tough start far behind and grow into amazing companions. Are You Ready to Meet Them? If you’re ready to welcome one of these precious pups into your home, reach out today! Let’s give them the fresh start they deserve and show the world just how wonderful pitty mixes can be. This version highlights their uniqueness, explains their needs clearly, and appeals to committed adopters who are ready to help these pups thrive! Story
Meet Draco, a stunning three-year-old, 65-pound Pitty mix with a heart full of love. This sweet boy spent an entire year waiting at a local Bay Area shelter, but his luck changed when one of our amazing foster families stepped up to give him a second chance. Now, Draco is thriving in foster care, and he’s ready to find his forever home! Draco has already experienced the joys of being part of a family. He’s been to soccer games, played with kids, and even took an accidental dip in the pool, loving every moment. He’s an all-around good boy who’s crate trained and appears to be fully house trained. While he’s still getting used to what it means to be a beloved pet, it’s clear that he had some home experience as a puppy. This playful guy loves his toys, rolling around in the grass, soaking up the sun, and, most of all, cuddling with his people. Draco has been waiting so long to feel the warmth of a home, and he’s relishing every minute of it. He’s wonderful with children and other dogs, but he’d also be perfectly happy being spoiled as the only dog in a loving household. Draco deserves a family who will shower him with the love and care he’s been craving for so long. Help us find this sweet, loyal boy the forever family he’s been waiting for! Story
Willow is looking for a person who understands a drivey bully breed/ bulldog temperament like hers, who loves the quirks of a bull dog, The Willow situation: Willow has lived with a wonderful family for a couple of years now. She is still in need of a home who is ideal for her and her special needs but she has come a very very long way. She is deaf and has one eye, she has been through a lot of personal training, is also trained in hand signs and to use a stim collar (vibrate recall) etc.In the RIGHT situation with routine she mostly lays around all day, and is an easy bull dog 90%. She needs a home without other animals and while she absolutely loves kids, she is too strong for them at times. This may seem silly, but the problem is that while she is VERY tolerant of kids, she is also an extreme leg humper🤦🏼‍♀️.. yup! And sometimes she gets super excited and will grab onto a leg and scratch you up if you don't correct her and kiddos aren't strong enough to do this. She is very very strong. In a home with other animals she is very different- she has high drive and becomes neurotic and overstimulated and very difficult in a home with other animals. In the wrong home she can be difficult to manage so we are looking for the right situation now that we have her figured out. Crate trained, potty trained, great temperament. She thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership. She can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received lots of training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life.🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs! Opt to adopt!-Treadmill trained-Can get too excited (overstimulate), like many bully breeds, so she thrives and requires a strong calm structure and leadership.- Too much prey drive for cats, and while she can now be around other dogs in a controlled setting, she should not live with other dogs. - Can be very submissive to her people but can also be pushy and dominant if you aren't managing her properly. - She is Active but calms down and chills. - She loves kids but right now we are looking for an adult home It is hard to get her attention with her hearing special needs and loss of an eye, so her person needs to continue to work on her on e collar recall/ hand signals. She has already received intensive training, and is awesome with her trainer, who will give her adopter free training. We want to ensure that her adoptive home will love and keep her for life which the communication benefits from training will help with.Being special needs her adoption fee is just a donation of your choice towards her medical costs with the agreement that you do some free training with her trainer. However please note that bull dogs are not low cost dogs to own!🐾 Go to www.k9ppr.org to send us an adoption application and tell us all about you and the home you would give sweet Willow! #k9ppr loves their bulldogs! Opt to adopt!November 4, 2024, 8:09 pm
