**COURTESY POST** Zyppr is a 4 yr. old, 40 lb. Staffordshire Lab mix. She originally was found at 9 months of age in the Bayou in a hoarding situation. She was brought to Southern California and is currently residing in the city of Tehachapi. Zyppr is a very loving, happy female who loves to play with her toys and chase balls. She also enjoys going on walks and is great on a leash. She is a cuddle bug and will snuggle in bed with you but is also okay in her own bed. She is a very smart and perceptive. She is loved by everyone where she is living now but she is not good with the family’s other female dog. She would be great as the only dog or with another medium-sized male dog as a playmate. Zyppr is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped. This special lady needs a special someone or family to call her own! **Courtesy post** Russell is a stunning 6 year old Staffy whose life started out not great. This boy was bounced from home to home then back and forth to the shelter, until a wonderful rescue group, Bullies and Buddies, pulled him from the overcrowded shelter. Russell is loving his foster home with alumni @bowiethehippo and Ziggy the kitty. This boy thrives on consistency and direction. While incarcerated in the shelter for almost 2 years, a volunteer started working w/him and getting him out but it was so hard on him, mentally and emotionally, to be put back into his cold, wet, concrete prison cell after experiencing a few minutes of freedom. He was in an amazing foster home for three months and then spent one month in board and training @k9kommittee building confidence and trust. Russell never had any consistency in his life until Bullies and Buddies recognized what a fabulous boy Russell is an rescued him. He is SO smart and goofy. He loves to play or just chill out. Russell is 60 pounds, house and crate trained, and good with dogs with proper intro. He loves a calm environment, so no kiddos. Russell has SO much potential and loves to please and learn. We are looking for someone with breed experience that can continue to set him up for success. He will come with two free training sessions. Roma.. our wonderful dog and our family is so saddened to make this difficult decision. Our primary reason is expense quite frankly, our homeowners insurance policy has questioned the bread being 'pit bull' and though we haven't performed an official breed analysis, we're pretty certain she is part pit bull. We also travel quite a bit and intend to travel extensively this next summer and wouldn't have the resources to house her. We are hopeful to find her an amazing home.

My former owner lived in a homeless encampment and I was constantly attacked by other dogs and my wounds were never ever treated and were super infected when I got put into that awful place. But I was LUCKY because this rescue got me and rushed me to the emergency vet and if not for them I wouldn't be alive right now-so I am so very THANKFUL to them and to you, all of the people who volunteer, foster, adopt, donate and share the posts!
