You would never know by his demeanor that, until he was rescued, he lived in a dirty crate with no bedding for most of his short life. He is so happy and friendly and he thinks that he is a lap dog. Bruce gets along very well with other dogs, both big and small, and he lets the little dogs in his foster home boss him around. He also does well around cats. Bruce is doing well with his potty training and has mastered the dog door. The vet feels that he is a little underweight but otherwise healthy, and is scheduled for his neuter surgery on August 15th. This goofy boy will melt your heart and give you years of love and big sloppy kisses. Animal Rescue Recon ensures that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. ****Answers to the questionnaire must be emailed to GraciaButter@gmail.com. If so, what type/breed? • How often will the dog be exercised? • If the dog becomes ill or injured are you financially prepared to provide medical care? • Are you prepared to care for this dog for its life span of 10-15 years? • Do you have a training plan? Please explain. • Do you have a plan in place if something happens and you can no longer care for the dog? • Before adoption, an up-close video of your fenced yard will be required - the entire perimeter including gates and the bottom of the fencing. The yard must be free of foxtails and fully secured. • Home check may be performed • If "meet & greet" is scheduled, all household members, dogs included, must be present. Our adoption fee is $350 The fee covers having the dog fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Nala is a very smart, super playful and loving girl. She loves physical touch. She loves people so much that she pees sometimes. I didn’t get to expose her a lot to other animals so she is weary. She may come off as aggressive but unfortunately due to the lack of time, and space she had, she has a lot of pent up energy. She has never once bitten anyone, although she chews on things she shouldn’t. I never got her out of that habit. She loves shoelaces, and walking in between people’s legs. I acquired her from a friend of mine, after just getting a new job. I later lost that job due to a car accident and haven’t had the funds to keep up with her expenses. With the money I did have, I saved her life after she was exposed to parvo. She’s been there for me at my worst and I’ve been there for her at her worst. I wish that I was able to provide a better home and this pains me to do, so I only hope her next home, is her last. She deserves the biggest yard, and the most loving, patient family.

Rehoming our 11 month old American bully/pit bull mix, Talulah “Lulu”. She’s spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped, as well as currently on a puppy plan at our local vet here in Tracy that can be transferred to her new owner. Lulu is incredibly loving and cuddly, we’ve had her since she was 12 weeks old. She’s playful, smart, house trained, loves other dogs, people, and kids. However, she does try to play rough with the smaller dogs, the same way she plays with the dogs her size. We feel she will be better suited in a home with no small dogs. Asking that a $250 donation be made to an agreed upon charity in place of a rehoming fee to help ensure she goes to a legitimate and loving home.
