Story
(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Hi! My name is King. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Marine Humane due to a housing situation.I am 7 years old, crate trained, and house-trained. I will sit patiently while you prepare my food and my foster brother and I eat close to each other.I have had only one family since I was a pup and being in a Foster home is very confusing. I love my foster brother but new dogs make me nervous and I do not totally understand boundaries. That can be rough on other animals that like their space or are smaller than me.I love walking, running, playing tug, and chewing on a ball. But I also have my favorite spot in the sun.I can get very excited and this can be difficult for some. I know I look big and can be too rough sometimes, but I just want to show love. I know with patience and care I will be the best dog for you. ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.8 Age: 6yrs 5mths 3wks

Story
Meet Bo, a senior dog with a heart full of love and joy. His tail never stops wagging, and his eyes sparkle with a youthful spirit that defies his years. Bo is a sweet and friendly companion, always ready to offer a comforting presence and a listening ear. His playful side shines through when he's chasing a tennis ball or romping with other dogs. He's a fetch champion, and his zest for life is contagious. Bo's age doesn't slow him down; instead, it brings a wisdom and patience that younger dogs often lack. His friendly nature and playful spirit make every day brighter. Bo's love for life and companionship is a testament to his resilience. Adopting Bo means gaining a loyal friend, a playmate, and a source of unconditional love. Don't miss the chance to share your life with this amazing dog. Story
2 brothers that need a loving home. Ideally would like to keep them in the same home preferably temporarily until Mid March 2025 or April. Unfortunately I can’t keep them where I am staying and my husband will be in the air force until Mid March and I’m having our first baby in February 2025. Jax (pitbull, 2 years, not microchipped) and Ace (lab mix, 7 months, microchipped) They were raised in an apartment in Arizona so are used to being inside. There’s a backyard where we are staying now and they love it. They are potty trained. Play with themselves a lot. Pretty low matience but can use some training.. they bark at loud noises because they are protective but are extremely friendly with humans and other dogs, especially little ones. Jax is more calm than Ace he’s older. Sometimes they get really excited when someone new comes in the house and may jump and lick. Love sleeping together or with owner. Loves dog parks and walks! The cutest most loving dogs you’ll find!

This animal is available at: Sonoma County Animal Services (707) 565-7100 PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT NORTH BAY Paul A424024  Located At: Sonoma County Animal Services  Description: I am a neutered male, black and white Pit Bull Terrier mix.  Age: I am estimated to be about 10 months old.  Weight: I weigh approximately 61 pounds.  More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 24, 2024.  Meet Paul! Paul arrived to us when he was 4 months old. This patient puppy is looking for a place to call home. He unfortunately fell victim to the overcrowded shelter scene. This prolonged him moving through the process and he is now over a year old. He is very sweet and attentive to his handler. He gets along well with other dogs with a plauful personality. He has been spending time in the front office with staff. He does still have some puppy tendencies, but is a very smart and fast learner. He just wants to be with his person, and follows them everywhere. He does settle inside nicely when with his handler. He will still need to learn some of the basics and work on his skill, but he is waiting. Due to his puppy-like behavior we are recommending a home with children 10 & up. Come visit him! My name is King. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Marine Humane because my first family could no longer keep me due to a housing situation.   I am a good deal trained. I know how to sit, stay, lie down, and shake. Even though I love to eat, I do not hoard food. I will sit patiently while you prepare my food and my foster brother and I eat close to each other. I am crate trained and will let you know with gentle whines when I need to go potty.   I have only had one family since I was a pup. My first family were of the older human age and could only take me on walks, but no parks. I did meet other dogs during walks, but it was only nose-to-nose, no play time. Because I have had little interaction with other dogs I am still learning how to socialize.   My foster brother is showing me how to respect dog boundaries. I still do not totally understand boundaries and that can be rough on other animals that like their space or are smaller than me. My foster father has to gently introduce me to new foods but once I know it is food I will eat anything. I recently discovered peanut butter and I am still learning how to get treats from a kong toy. Right now, everything seems new to me, and I get very excited. But once I get familiar, I like to just lie down and relax. Because a lot of things are still new, I don't always know how to react. I get very excited and this can be difficult for some. I know I look big and can be too rough sometimes, but I just want to show love. I know with patience and care I will be the best dog for you.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgOctober 27, 2024, 11:17 pm

Her affectionate nature and steadfast loyalty make her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loving pet. She loves people and adored a dog-savvy 8-year-old boy, so we think she would love to be in a home with dog-savvy kids. Nala does not want to be left alone in a yard and will make her displeasure known by barking. Her new family should not leave her in the yard, they should teach her to be OK inside the house when they leave. Despite her current circumstances, Nala's spirit remains unbroken, and she eagerly awaits the day she can share her love with a forever family. Adopting Nala means gaining a faithful friend who will provide unconditional love and companionship.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgOctober 27, 2024, 11:17 pm
