Story

We saved Destiny from the San Bernardino shelter about 4 years ago. She was adopted by a wonderful woman who loved her and gave her a good home. Unfortunately, Destiny now finds herself back with us as her mom passed away a few months ago. She was sad at first, but she is finally coming out of it and is ready to find her next forever home. Destiny is great with people -- she will love everyone. She enjoys her walks and is also happy to just chill in the shade. She will learn to get along with some dogs, but she would probably prefer to be the only dog in her family. Please come meet Destiny. She is a sweet girl who just wants love.

Once she’s comfortable around you she loves to receive affection but it can take some time to earn her trust. She absolutely loves other dogs and is great with everyone she’s met. Shelby is good around dogs of all sizes (and prefers their company over humans), she is good with cats and has also met livestock including goats, sheep, chickens, etc. Shelby walks nicely on a leash right next to you but can become a little bit nervous when a car drives by. She just moves to the other side to create some space between her and the car. She is calm and mellow in the house, potty trained, crate trained and calm over food. Shelby is around 5 years old. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Shelby rarely barks and is generally pretty quiet. Shelby would do really great if she has a confident dog friend in the home with her. Olive is a five-year-old Pittie/Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued from a shelter three years ago. She is very sweet when she warms up to people, but she is fearful when she first meets someone. Her behavior can come across as aggressive because of her fear, but she has never bitten or hurt anyone and don’t think she ever would. We love her very much, but we are moving soon and the new apartment complex doesn’t allow large dogs. She is used to living with another dog and a cat, and she gets along great with them. She has also lived with children in the past and loved them. The perfect family for her would be a family who is patient with her fears and wants to cuddle with her. She loves to cuddle and has so much love to give!

Hi, my name is Bandit. Even though I might have been a hard lot in life but I don't let it dampen my sprits. My foster mom says I was born with a cleft palette and I had to be tube fed as a baby.This is part of the reason I am a small boy because as a baby I didn't get enough to eat. I just had surgery to repair everything but it only partially worked. I eat just fine, and I love my treats. I prefer my soft ones. I love to play tug with my rope toy and playing fetch. I am only 2 pounds at 9 months old so I am going to be a little boy. I have one other slight problem is that my hind end is underdeveloped so I don't have a lot of bladder control. Because of this I have to wear diapers. My foster mom says I might get some mobility back since I'm running around so much more now. I get along great with both my foster dog friends. I also get along really good with everyone I meet. I am hoping to find a home soon.
