Let me introduce you to smiley, happy, Niko! This furry friend is absolutely crazy about playing with other dogs and simply adores a good hard romp. When it comes to wagging his tail, he's a true pro - you won't believe how his whole body gets involved! Just one little thing to keep in mind - Niko would do best in a home without cats. But apart from that, he's an absolute sweetheart and a bundle of fun! With his charming personality, he'll make an incredible addition to any family. Our Adoption Fees are: Kittens (under 12 months): $175.00 Adult Cats: (over 12 months) $150.00Puppies (under 12 months): $250.00Adult Dogs (over 12 months): $225.00PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: A $75 training deposit is applicable to any and all dogs who are expected to be or are currently larger than 25 pounds. Story
Acquired Blue, at SPCA, I’ve had her for 3 years, but due to a busy work schedule I am no longer able to care for her the way she should be, would love for her to go to an amazing family, who can give her the time and love that I wish I could give. Blue is 3 years old, loving, caring, adventurous, and all around sweet dog. She knows the command, sit and lay down. Loves car rides, and walks, and running around at the park. She knows how to play fetch, when she is in the mood. Great with kids, and adults. Gets excited when seeing other animals, and it always curious to go and meet them.

Story
Hi my name is Buddy I was dumped as a puppy at a police dept. I found a home who said he'd love me and exercise me. He didn't and he surrendered me to the kill shelter without telling the rescue. I was adopted again but after all efforts they couldn't help my confinement phobia. I Need a high fence with a big back yard. And preferably someone home a lot. I get frantic the first 30 minutes when someone leaves and I just stay by the house. I hate cats. I learned the doggy door and my crate being inside. I'm not housetrained. Will you give me a chance

Story
I was living under storage container with my 4 sons. I was rescued thanksgiving day 2023. I am very shy, a bit feral. So I need a patient experienced home. I'm about 2-3 years old. I get along with other dogs. A foster would help open me up.

Story
For those of you who don’t remember Syd, she is the pit mix puppy who was attacked by another dog, spent time at @kingsburgvet and surrendered to PC. Syd has had a long recovery time, besides the initial injuries from the attack she had difficulty breathing. Our wonderful vet partner @kingsburgvet did various testing, x-rays, bloodwork, & cultures. While they were able to eliminate some disease concerns, we never were able to pin down the exact issue. Syd has a crazy overbite and still snorts when she breathes so it may be possible that her anatomy also contributed to some of her early breathing issues. The vet along with her foster mom provided Syd with supportive care to help get her thru the worst of her issues. It was touch and go for awhile and not being able to figure out a definitive answer was frustrating for everyone but we are just glad that she is doing better now and growing into such a good girl. Syd has been raised in a home with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and gets along with everyone. She is crate trained, housebroken, very treat motivated and is lower to medium energy level. She has completed her puppy vaccine series, microchipped, flea tick treated, dewormed, received her rabies vaccine and spayed. If you would like to be considered for the adoption of a dog or puppy, please follow the steps below and submit an application through our independent process (Petfinder “matchmaking” emails are not part of our process and we are unable to respond to them). If you have questions you must reach out to us as we do not have the capacity to individually contact all applicants. You may call 559-393-1946 between 6PM and 9PM if you have additional questions AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. We hold adoption events at Petsmart San Jose every Saturday starting at 11am, and most of our adoptable dogs can be met by appointment at these events. Copy and paste the link below to submit a pre-screen application for the dog of interest, or find the link on our website www.pawsitiveconnections.org. Due to the overwhelming amount of interest our dogs receive, we unfortunately will not be able to reach out to all applicants who apply. If you do not receive correspondence from us, it is likely a reflection of the amount of applications we received. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGSOxbGTIIintrGXUi8H-ddLv41aA0XUbELmNi0YhUIWQHRA/viewform /Adoption fee will include spayneuter, microchip, rabies vaccine (dependent on age), bordatella vaccine, parvodistemper vaccine (1-4 depending on age of dog), dewormer (2-4), monthly nexgard for flea and tick treatment./November 2, 2024, 1:40 pm
