Story
Meet Venus, a sweet and slightly shy pit bull mix who`s just over a year old! This lovely lady is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can blossom and build her confidence. Venus can be a little unsure of herself, especially when it comes to handling, and often seeks reassurance. While toys aren`t her favorite, she absolutely adores playing with people! Venus is still learning the ropes when it comes to interacting with other dogs and can be a bit awkward or unsure during playtime, so a home with teens and up would be the best fit for her. Fun fact: This clever girl once decided she needed a better view from her office hangout and promptly climbed onto the desk to gaze out the window! If you`re looking for a loving companion who just needs a little help finding her footing, Venus is ready to shine!

Story
Rico is a 3-year-old blue nose Pitbull, and he is a very nice dog. With our schedules making it difficult to tend to him we come to the decision to put him up for adoption rather than putting him down. We really hope he gets a home where he can be loved and properly taken care of. My kids are teens, and he does really good around them. I have had him around younger kids, but we will end up putting him in the house or outside because he likes to jump on people and the kids and parents will get scared. P.S Rico loves to play fetch and tug of war.

Story
Pitbull Mix Age: 2-3 yrs old Male, Neutered 50 lbs Click here for Adoption Application Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Grady (a.k.a. “Bear”) came to foster care from the Stockton animal shelter with a plea to save this wonderful dog. Grady likely was hit by a car and was limping around for an estimated month prior to being picked up by animal control. He had a broken pelvis and needed FHO surgery. He was probably in a lot of pain for two months, if not more. Despite his pain, Grady was labeled a “staff favorite” at the shelter due to his sweet demeanor and love of affection from his human friends there taking care of him. This information led him to being saved by a willing foster with pittie experience and Nobody’s Perfekt Rescue. Grady was pulled out of the shelter, just in the nick of time. Once in foster care, Grady took a couple of weeks to get used to the house dog. He was in pain, in a crate and in an unfamiliar place, so slow introductions were needed. After about two weeks, he and the house dog, a female pittie named Ruby, became best friends and love play. Grady would love to have a friend to play with in a home but could likely also be the only dog. Grady would be best suited for a dog friend similar in size and gets along well with female dogs. Grady needs slow and proper introductions to another dog through crate or area rotation. On leash, he can be leash reactive when around other big dogs that he does not know. He walks well on leash otherwise but is still limping on his rear left leg. Grady is a cuddle-lovebug with a very cute little underbite and has the face of a baby bear, hence his nickname. He loves every human he has met so far and loves sleeping in his foster mom’s lap. Grady loves to melt into your arms or lap and hang out on the couch and loves affection. He’s an easy dog to handle and listens well. He knows how to sit, wait and probably shake, but loses balance when he tries, due to his rear leg. Grady will alert when someone is at the front door and barks at leaf blowers and loud equipment. He will need regular attention and training but responds well to treats and food. He should also be fed separately from any other dog in the house, as most dogs do when food is present. Grady sleeps through the night in his crate and is house-potty trained. He knows how to use a doggie door and uses it regularly in his foster home. Any home would be lucky to have Grady-Bear and he would make a wonderful addition to any household. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Grady, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com

Story
This is Tonka. A handsome goofy boy who is convinced he can fit into anyone's lap, and if not he's happy to cuddle at any time of day. I found him and fell in love with him from Humane Society of Silicone Valley and adopted him at 9 weeks old. He loves playing with dogs big or small and as far as I have seen understands to be gentle with kids or small animals. He's still a puppy at 70lbs so his excitement can get to him but he's as smart as he is a little stubborn. Born on June 2nd, he been growing into his feet and is friendly with everyone he meets. He has a mix of different mastiff type protection breeds but is mostly an American Bully. He's a sweetheart with an infinite amount of love and joy. He is coming from a home with one smaller older dog and two cats. Unfortunately he is displaying signs of knee issues that I cannot maintain my financial situation with as a full time student. His knees will never stop him from having fun is what I've found out recently.

Story
Did you know that I have been considered a dual varsity athlete for my ball chasing speed and my squeaky toy surgical precision? If you love a dog that can really do it all and you too want to hit the trails, get a good shredding activity and then cap it all off with a snuggle on the couch - look no further than me, Daisy Roo! While my sheer athleticism may blow you away, I may not know my own speed and so a home with older kids (teen +) will be best as I might just zoom right over smaller friends. Every athlete knows the value of good rest - and I can be a champion snuggler to add to my accolades. When I am totally stoked about hanging with my favorite people, I may get a bit rowdy so I would love to continue learning how best to harness my skills with positive reinforcement training. Anything for a snack to refuel right! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 54.6 Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
English Bulldog Age: 2 yrs old Male, Neutered 33 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Otis was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. He was pretty healthy, but had a condition called “cherry eye” in both eyes. Our vet attempted to fix both eyes - the success rate for this repair is about 50/50. One eye is healing nicely, the other may not be so lucky, time will tell. Cherry eye is mostly a cosmetic issue, and doesn’t affect their ability to see. English bulldogs in general often have LOTS of medical issues. The only other observable condition, so far, is a flea allergy. Otis had a lot of energy, a lot of humping and marking before he was neutered. Within a week following surgery, there was a big difference in his behavior. He is young and still energetic at times, but he is also very sweet and loves to cuddle. We pulled Otis at the same time we pulled another English Bulldog, a female named Courtney, from the same shelter. We thought that they may have come from the same home and were bonded. They do get along very well and probably bonded in a bulldog breed bonding sort of way. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. Story
English Bulldog Age: 5-6 yrs old Female, Spayed 38 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Courtney was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. She had an abscess on her paw that needed medical attention. Upon evaluation by our vet, it was observed that she also has dry eye syndrome, ectropion eyelids that turn in, but her corneas were in pretty good shape. There were also sutures still in place on her lower abdominal area. The incision was too small for a recent C-section and there were no other signs that she had been recently pregnant (although she has likely had puppies in the past). It could have been from a recent spay, but lab testing indicated that she was still intact. It is a mystery as to why the incision w/ sutures was there. Our vet spayed her and fixed her eyelids. She is on ointment and eye drops for the chronic dry eyes, but it is possible that this will correct itself over time. English bulldogs in general often have LOTS of medical issues. Courtney had some domination issues with the volunteers when she first came to us. After some consistent and stringent correction, that behavior considerably lessened, but she will need to be monitored when meeting strangers. Otherwise, she is very sweet and loves attention. We pulled Courtney at the same time we pulled another English Bulldog, a male named Otis, from the same shelter. We thought that they may have come from the same home and were bonded. They do get along very well and probably bonded in a bulldog breed bonding sort of way. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13.
