Story
2 brothers that need a loving home. Ideally would like to keep them in the same home preferably temporarily until Mid March 2025 or April. Unfortunately I can’t keep them where I am staying and my husband will be in the air force until Mid March and I’m having our first baby in February 2025. Jax (pitbull, 2 years, not microchipped) and Ace (lab mix, 7 months, microchipped) They were raised in an apartment in Arizona so are used to being inside. There’s a backyard where we are staying now and they love it. They are potty trained. Play with themselves a lot. Pretty low matience but can use some training.. they bark at loud noises because they are protective but are extremely friendly with humans and other dogs, especially little ones. Jax is more calm than Ace he’s older. Sometimes they get really excited when someone new comes in the house and may jump and lick. Love sleeping together or with owner. Loves dog parks and walks! The cutest most loving dogs you’ll find!

Story
(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Hi! My name is King. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Marine Humane due to a housing situation.I am 7 years old, crate trained, and house-trained. I will sit patiently while you prepare my food and my foster brother and I eat close to each other.I have had only one family since I was a pup and being in a Foster home is very confusing. I love my foster brother but new dogs make me nervous and I do not totally understand boundaries. That can be rough on other animals that like their space or are smaller than me.I love walking, running, playing tug, and chewing on a ball. But I also have my favorite spot in the sun.I can get very excited and this can be difficult for some. I know I look big and can be too rough sometimes, but I just want to show love. I know with patience and care I will be the best dog for you. ***ADOPTION FEE PAID*** Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.8 Age: 6yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Meet Nala, a sweet and loyal adult dog who is currently residing in a shelter. Her affectionate nature and steadfast loyalty make her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loving pet. She loves people and adored a dog-savvy 8-year-old boy, so we think she would love to be in a home with dog-savvy kids. Nala does not want to be left alone in a yard and will make her displeasure known by barking. Her new family should not leave her in the yard, they should teach her to be OK inside the house when they leave. Despite her current circumstances, Nala's spirit remains unbroken, and she eagerly awaits the day she can share her love with a forever family. Adopting Nala means gaining a faithful friend who will provide unconditional love and companionship. ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED*** Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 53.6 Age: 3yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
(From my foster person)This baby pittie hippo is the sweetest girl! I've had her and her brother since they were 5 weeks young. She's the affectionate one, she loves little kisses on her neck and belly and ear rubs. She's been sleeping with us at night and will use her pet stairs to go up and down to potty. She's not a bed hog the way most pitties are, she likes to be close to you so that she doesn't miss out on an occasional belly rub during the night. She loves food, any kind and any amount. She's not a shy girl when it comes to pigging out. She loves toys, squeaky toys, but stuffed animals are her favorites. She's a smarty pants; she's already figured out "Step 2" interactive treat puzzles and loves all interactive toys. Patxha and her brother are very mellow puppies, they're the ONLY puppies I can take in a stroller without them trying to jump out or have a tantrum (they just sit in the stroller and enjoy the ride), they go to our daily neighborhood "doggie social" and get along with all adults, kids and dogs of all sizes and ages, they've been to a tail gate party and "were sitting in their car seats like angles," until everyone took turns holding them which made them very content. They ride in carts to the pet store and even picked out which toys and treats they wanted me to buy. They are amazing on car rides, they just sleep. Patxha is the sweetest, prettiest little pittapotamus, I would keep her as my own if I didn't have 3 already. She's been socialized with my 2 pitties and chihuahua, and a litter of 5 small chihuahua fosters. Patxha is amazing, we love her and want her to find her perfect furever home. If you think you can give this amazing, wonderful pup a loving home and spoil her forever, please adopt her. She's such a loving pup! Story
We adopted this little nugget Enzo in January and he will be turning 1 at the end of October. He is full of energy and life. He always makes silly/funny faces, especially when he is next to you and you have food. He loves the sun and outdoor activities (ex: hiking, camping, walks, fetch, etc.). He is almost crate-trained (he doesn't always enter the crate on command) and he is almost house-broken (he will still go in the house if you don't let him out at regular intervals). He gets along well with other animals, and he loves people, so much so that he often gets too excited and jumps on them (his next family will need patience when teaching him how to courteously say hello to people). The main reason why Enzo is being rehomed is because he is resource guarding (food mainly, toys sometimes), and at this time we don't have the resources to properly manage this behavior. Secondarily, he often nibs/mouths/bites down (though usually not enough to break skin) when he is seeking attention.
