Story
Paco is a neutered male black and white Staffi/Lab mix. He is 18 months old and weighs 60 lbs. so he will be a big boy when fully grown. He has been raised in Mexico by a lovely family and all vaccines are up to date and he is housetrained. Paco has lots of energy! He would love a yard to run in and a friend to play with. He is good with other dogs although he is overly anxious during initial introductions. He currently lives with several other dogs. He has not been around cats. Paco is as sweet as can be and loves kids. He just wants to find his own person or family to love. Because he’s young, obedience training would help him be the best dog he can be. To meet Paco, contact Dana by email or text: dkmikel@gmail.com or text 760.519.5532.

She can be a bit nervous of new faces and places, so she'll thrive in a calm home without the hustle and bustle of young children. Silvia loves calm dogs and will need a furry companion to guide her - she's looking for a mellow, social dog who can help her feel more secure. If you have another pup at home, please bring them along for a meet-and-greet to ensure they hit it off! She has made great strides in our care and absolutely adores her walks, especially with her doggy friends! How this pet arrived: Mullet was brought in by her previous owner on December 12, 2024. Why Mullet is the one for you:Meet Mullet, a lovely girl with a heart as big as her personality! This intelligent gal is potty trained, crate trained, and a dream passenger in the car. Mullet knows a variety of commands like sit, stay, down, look, and even crawl-she's one smart cookie! While she can get a little overexcited at times, she's a quick learner and will thrive with some gentle guidance. Mullet has a history of guarding her items from other pets, so she'd thrive in a home without other cats or dogs. She is looking for a home with older, sturdier children who won't get knocked over when she gets excited. If you do have another pup, a meet-and-greet is a must to ensure they're a match. Story
How this pet arrived: Mufasa was brought in by a community member on December 10, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Mufasa, a lovable dog who is looking for a patient and understanding family to call his own. Mufasa can be shy with new people and unfamiliar environments, but once he feels comfortable, he is a loyal companion who enjoys attention. He warms up with the help of treats, making him a good candidate for a family that can offer a calm, supportive atmosphere. Once he feels comfortable, Mufasa can be jumpy at times when he gets excited, so he'll need someone who can handle his energy. He is crate trained, making him a good fit for a structured household, but he is not suited for busy public places like farmers markets due to his fearful behavior. He needs a family who will respect his space and give him plenty of time to adjust to new situations. Mufasa will do best with someone who is patient, and who won't force interactions but will instead let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Want to learn more? Come meet Mufasa today and be sure to bring the entire household with you!Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
