He was not happy about the lack of walks, but the vet said his shoulder looks like it's healed up and he can finally run and play. He's housebroken, good with other dogs, and food motivated. To find more information on him, please email animalcontrol@lowellarkansas.gov. Story
My dog Bailey is such a good girl she loves cuddles and nap time. I got her from a friend of a friend not knowing exactly how old she was. Right now she’s about 1 year I would estimate. She needs someone who has a lot of time during the day she likes females more than men. She would never bite anyone she’s very skeptical about men though. she doesn’t do great when left alone and can have potty accidents if no one is paying attention, and doesn’t like being in a cage. She loves the outside so maybe someone with a back yard and she also loves playing in water.

Story
Care Bear 6166 Pit Bull Terrier Rogers, AR Adult Male Large About Meet Care Bear 6166 Sometimes it takes someone who has experienced hard times and heartless treatment from the hand of a human to show all of us how to forgive and forget. Care Bear arrived at the Humane Society suffering from neglect and lack of even the most basic of needs: food, shelter, medical attention and companionship. His fur is a still a little bit thin in spots but thanks to the kindness and compassionate nurturing of the Humane Society volunteers, Care Bear wakes up every morning (in the clouds of Care-a-Lot) with clean living quarters, a full tummy and quality medical support. He has chosen not to live in his past, but to share smiles with everyone while he enjoys a romp in the bark park and has fittingly earned his nickname of “a Care Bear marshmallow” bestowed by the HS volunteers that are witnessing his transformation. He is bulldozer strong but has a relaxed, easy-going, it’s-time-to-enjoy-life personality. Of all the Care Bear tribe, he wishes to be called Wish Bear as he looks forward to sharing his life with a loving human. He would be best as the only pet in the family.

However, thanks to regular medicated baths and a nutritious diet, he's made an incredible recovery and is now thriving! While Harold could benefit from some basic obedience training, he's highly treat-motivated, which will make training sessions a breeze. He's eager to please and just needs a little guidance to understand what you’d like him to do. Although he's not very interested in toys, Harold enjoys his walks and is quite good on a leash.
