Story

Meet the great Raja! What is Raj great at you ask? Well, he’s the best couch potato in the house. He also loves to snuggle, cuddle, or just be near his humans. He listens well and just wants to love and be loved. He’s a medium-sized 50lb goofball with a sweet and gentle personality. We are unsure of his age as he was a stray when he came to us, but we guess he's between 3 and 5 years old. He likes short to medium-length walks but would need more cardio for longer walks or for hikes. Raj appears to be good with adults and children over 8 yrs old however we have not seen him interact with toddlers. He is also good with other medium size or above dogs but will avoid overly excited dogs. Unfortunately, he does like to chase cats. We do not recommend him for a home that has toddlers, small dogs, or cats. Raj is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down and stay. Raj is currently being cared for in central Phoenix but they are willing to travel for meet and greets anywhere in the greater Phoenix area. We rescued Atlas from the local shelter. He is a very sweet, energetic dog. He is really well behaved on a leash and knows basic commands like sit and stay. He is smart and picks up on new commands quickly. He makes a great companion and will gladly hang out with you whether you're sitting watching TV, cooking in the kitchen or moving around the house. The only thing we are unsure of is how he gets along with other dogs. We have four dogs and are currently working to integrate Atlas into our pack. He has been wonderful with every person he's met, but he seems unsure of other dogs. Our goal is to find the perfect environment for Atlas to thrive in because he truly is a great companion.

Found him about 4 weeks ago in the middle of the road. He was unaltered, I attempted to find owners, was not successful. He was not microchipped and appeared to have some skin issues. Took Mac to the vet, got him fixed and his allergies under control. Mac is so sweet, he loves people, is quiet, does not bark, and knows basic commands. He is a bit needy and loves to cuddle and just be with his person. I have not had him around kids, but he seems to be a very calm, sweet natured boy. He was around multiple cats and never attempts to chase or play with them, so I would say he is great with cats. He is fixated on one of my four other dogs, so he is being temporarily held by my uncle while we look for another home.

Tobi is a very sweet dog but he has been through a lot. His past owner was a family friend of mine who sadly passed away. I took in Tobi as a foster planning to rehome. He loves affection, and receiving lots of pets. Hes great with other dogs his size or bigger. He is fine with cats he acts like hes going to hunt my cat but never actually does anything and is truthfully very afraid of him. My friend who had him before rescued him from a shelter when he had one day until they were going to put him down. I dont have a clear story on his past but he is very loving. He will bark at a random person like hes mad but then he runs up and begs for love. He really needs a good home with owners who are willing to understand him.

Aspen is approx. 55 lbs About 1.5 yrs year old Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines Aspen is great with most dogs but can occasionally be selective on his doggy friends. Not sure about cats Good with kids 6 and up due to his energy and bounciness! Aspen and his brother were left behind at a home by their owner who was renting there. We don't know why someone would leave these precious brothers, but thankfully, a kind neighbor heard them barking and knew she had to help. They were hungry and thirsty but still very, very sweet. Aspen LOVES to play fetch with Chuck-it balls. He'll bring it back and sit for you. He loves riding in the car, trips to Home Depot and Tractor Supply and sleeping next to his human. He could use some more obedience training as he's still a very active big puppy. His cuteness is hard to resist!
