Story
I rescued Mila when she was 6.5 weeks, Mila is now 7 years. Very active, loves playing fetch in the backyard, tug of war, just playing with toys, and loves exploring on long walks, and of course sun bathing. Mila is very smart and loves people. Unfortunately, I am no longer allowed to have Mila at my apartment complex or I will get evicted. My goal is to find a new owner for her and she can live her best life in a house with a yard. Mila can not be with other animals whatsoever. It would be ideal if someone who didn’t work long hours, I worked a normal 9-5 job would occasionally be late but I arranged for dog walkers to take her out but it only made her depressed. I want her to be happy in her own territory.

Story
At just a year old, Ashley was sadly surrendered to the county shelter when the cute “puppy-phase” was over, and they "didn't have time for her". Scared, confused, and beyond nervous in such a stressful environment, Ashley was placed on the euthanasia list for her fearful kennel behavior and lack of proper socialization. We took her in knowing this beautiful girl deserved a chance to learn that this world doesn't have to be so scary after all. Ashley turned a corner with us, and her personality began to blossom. We put her with our trainer to work on basic obedience, socialization and confidence. Her achievements in training have been amazing! She has been out socializing with people (and dogs) in public places. She is learning how to properly play, and she has learned commands such as “sit”, “stay”, “place”, “lay” and “leave it”. Ashley isn’t just a beauty, she’s got brains too! Ashley is now ready for a home -- the most perfect home for her. We are looking for adopters who can give her the structure, routine, activity and adventure she needs to continue to blossom and grow. She would love to have another fur friend to play with, and we are recommending a home with no children. Ashley would do best in a calm, consistent household committed to continuing her training and socialization. Ashley's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip, spay and completed obedience training. We will also include a session with our trainer so her new family can learn all of her commands. Apply here to come meet Ashley: https://lovethemallrescue.org/ashley We can pretty much guarantee you'll fall head over heels in no time!

Story
Good Samaritans took in mama Adele after they found her pregnant and wandering an industrial park. While awaiting her intake appointment at the county shelter, mama gave birth to 11 beautiful babies in the finder's home. After no owner was found, they were then transferred to the shelter where they had difficulty finding foster placement due to the pet overpopulation crisis we are facing here in Phoenix. One day, LTA's founder was at the shelter with her daughter while saving another dog who was scheduled for euthanasia. The shelter staff asked to show them this adorable family who was desperately in need of rescue. Our founder's daughter laid eyes on mama and those [then] three-week-old pups, and that was that. Two days later, all 12 precious lives were safe with us here at LTA. Like any pop star, these pups put on quite a show with their adorable antics. We could watch them playfully pounce and roll around on their little round bellies all day long. And bias aside, these Pup Stars have the perfect personalities -- all thanks to their mama Adele who is sweet as pie, dog-friendly and a total dream girl. The entire family plays nicely (with added puppy flair, of course) with people, children, and other dogs. These 12 precious lives would fit into any amazing home looking to help them become the best lifelong companions we know they can be. Each Pup Star's adoption fee includes their completed veterinary exams and microchips, spay/neuters and complete vaccine schedules. We know if they learn young, you will have a lifetime with a well-behaved dog!  The Pupstars would love active homes with backyards (unless you are active and in a condo or apartment). Story
Kane was at risk for euthanasia at our county shelter for a double-sided heart murmur that was discovered when they went to neuter him for adoption. So young, energetic and handsome, we just knew this sweet boy's story couldn't end there. We pulled him from the euthanasia list and got to the bottom of what was going on with his heart. After full diagnostics and echocardiogram, it was discovered that Kane had an open valve in his heart that should have closed as a puppy. Specialists were astounded that he had lived as long as he had because most puppies with his condition don't make it past six months of age. We immediately opted to move forward with the treatment he needed, and Kane went in for an emergency laparoscopic heart operation -- a Patent Ductus Arteriosis Occlusion Closure with one of the best cardiologists in the state. Since his operation 6 months ago, Kane has been doing SO well. Still his young and energetic self, we put Kane with our professional trainer for two weeks of board and train so he could learn the manners he needed to be the best version of his happy self. He did AMAZING with training and socialization and even became the go-to dog used for play groups and socializing other dogs. Kane now knows all of his obedience commands, such as sit, lay, down, place, recall and, most importantly, he walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling! Much like his heart operation, Kane has crushed it! Our sweet, happy, energetic, young boy is now ready to find his forever home. We would LOVE to see Kane in an active home with another active dog who would love to romp and play all day. Kane would do best with older children over 13. He would very much enjoy a yard to run around in, daily walks or hikes and even days adventuring at the lake. Kane is crate trained, which is a huge asset! He’s also the perfect gentleman for a friendly dog patio! Kane has impeccable obedience and his family would receive a session with our trainer to continue reinforcing everything he has learned. Kane’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, completed board and train program, vaccines, microchip and neuter. If you are ready to add some fun, happy, loving adventure to your life, apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/kane to meet our heart survivor boy...he will steal your own heart in no time. Promise!

Story
Bruce found himself on the county’s euthanasia list when he arrived at the shelter with multiple puncture wounds on his legs, a massively open wound across his whole neck and various cuts and scrapes along his body. Suspected to have been tied up with a chain and attacked on multiple occasions, one thing was clear – Bruce needed help, and fast. After two weeks of intensive, twice-daily rinsing and wound care, the tissues on Bruce’s neck became healthy enough for our orthopedic surgeon to go in and fully close his neck back up. It took this sweet boy over a month to heal, and in that time, we were able to help him build confidence and feel safe, for what may have been the first time in his life. In our care, he has been able to experience affection and love from people he has learned he can trust. Now, it’s time for Bruce to find that forever spot where he can continue to blossom, experience life and have that unconditional love from a family of his very own. Because Bruce can be a bit shy meeting new people (understandably so!), it may take more than one introduction for you to get to know him. Once he opens up, though, you’ll find that he loves companionship, chasing after balls and going for long walks. He would love to cozy up in a comfy bed and enjoy a lifetime full of love. We are seeking a home with no children and where he can be the only dog. Bruce is crate-trained, potty-trained, has excellent leash manners, and knows basic obedience commands. Bruce’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. To meet this courageous boy and give him a chance to experience what it’s like to finally live the life he so deserves, apply now at: https://lovethemallrescue.org/bruce-1

Story
Clara was found as an injured stray at only 4-months old. Her tail was broken, her back legs were weak and she was left incontinent–plus she was incredibly malnourished. She was taken to the county shelter and set to be euthanized due to her medical issues and injuries likely caused by severe trauma she had endured. We knew we had to save this precious little girl, get her whatever medical care she needed and give her the opportunity to heal and experience a real life of love. With intense physical therapy and a dedicated, loving foster, Clara has shown herself to be a brave girl who is as loving as she is resilient! Her back legs have been regaining strength, while she has put on much-needed weight. Her entire body wiggles back and forth when she sees her people, and she absolutely loves to cuddle and play. Clara is crate-trained, walks well on a leash and does well with people and children of all ages. She knows to go potty outside but has some leakage due to partial incontinence that is best managed with diapers. Clara enjoys walks, playing with toys, chasing birds and cats and cuddles with her favorite people. She can be vocal if left all alone at home but a doggy friend to keep her company makes all the difference to her! Ultimately, what Clara really hopes to find is a family that will shower her with love, spoil her with toys and let her romp + roll in the grass, forever cherished + adored. Clara knows that her sweet disposition and charming underbite more than make up for the extra TLC our special girl will need from her forever family! Clara’s adoption fee includes completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and spay. Apply to meet this sweet soul, and we promise she'll have you wrapped around her finger in no time! Story
CALM. SWEETIE PIE. CUDDLING QUEEN! Izzie found herself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter due to having Valley Fever, which had spread into her front, right leg, causing her to limp. One look at those big, beautiful eyes and sweet smile, and we knew we had to save her. And boy are we glad we did! Izzie is a total love bug. She adores relaxing and cuddling with you on the couch, but she will also surprise you with a good round of zoomies every now and then! She enjoys strolls around the neighborhood, chewing on antlers, and did we mention getting so much love?? Izzie’s dream home would be an adult-only home where she can be your one and only pup! She is crate- and house-trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. As much as she loves people, she can be a little shy when first meeting someone new. With a little patience and slow approach, though, she'll be wanting to climb on your lap in no time. Izzie’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. She will need continued medications for her [treatable and not contagious] Valley Fever. Apply now to meet the girl who just wants to cuddle, get pets and then cuddle some more! https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt
