Story

Found him about 4 weeks ago in the middle of the road. He was unaltered, I attempted to find owners, was not successful. He was not microchipped and appeared to have some skin issues. Took Mac to the vet, got him fixed and his allergies under control. Mac is so sweet, he loves people, is quiet, does not bark, and knows basic commands. He is a bit needy and loves to cuddle and just be with his person. I have not had him around kids, but he seems to be a very calm, sweet natured boy. He was around multiple cats and never attempts to chase or play with them, so I would say he is great with cats. He is fixated on one of my four other dogs, so he is being temporarily held by my uncle while we look for another home.

Tobi is a very sweet dog but he has been through a lot. His past owner was a family friend of mine who sadly passed away. I took in Tobi as a foster planning to rehome. He loves affection, and receiving lots of pets. Hes great with other dogs his size or bigger. He is fine with cats he acts like hes going to hunt my cat but never actually does anything and is truthfully very afraid of him. My friend who had him before rescued him from a shelter when he had one day until they were going to put him down. I dont have a clear story on his past but he is very loving. He will bark at a random person like hes mad but then he runs up and begs for love. He really needs a good home with owners who are willing to understand him.

She had been picked up with her puppies, and the puppies were quickly adopted but Julie was not, and quickly began to deteriorate. Julie is timid and initially scared in new situations. Once she warms up, she is very affectionate and loving. Julie will need a gentle handler and a companion dog would be ideal. Julie is crate trained but becomes quite scared of being left in crate alone, and tries anything to prevent that. She does well crated with another dog. Julie can walk on leash but needs gentle encouragement. Julie is nervous with storms, car rides, loud noises or toys, and fast movements. Julie is not at all destructive. Meet the great Raja! What is Raj great at you ask? Well, he’s the best couch potato in the house. He also loves to snuggle, cuddle, or just be near his humans. He listens well and just wants to love and be loved. He’s a medium-sized 50lb goofball with a sweet and gentle personality. We are unsure of his age as he was a stray when he came to us, but we guess he's between 3 and 5 years old. He likes short to medium-length walks but would need more cardio for longer walks or for hikes. Raj appears to be good with adults and children over 8 yrs old however we have not seen him interact with toddlers. He is also good with other medium size or above dogs but will avoid overly excited dogs. Unfortunately, he does like to chase cats. We do not recommend him for a home that has toddlers, small dogs, or cats. Raj is housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down and stay. Raj is currently being cared for in central Phoenix but they are willing to travel for meet and greets anywhere in the greater Phoenix area.
