He has a great personality and is a whole lot of fun.   You can see his enthusiasm and love of life in his expressive face!  Green Bean is also a little bit of a ham when there is a camera nearby.  He is a natural and just seems to strike a pose – often with a big smile as well.  Green Bean has a lot of energy and loves to run and play in the park.  He would do best in a home where he could get plenty of exercise and have space to run around.  He also needs a family that would be willing to train him and help him be the best dog that he can be!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Junior is a 2 year old Pit/Hound mix. This sweet and energetic boy is all play, all the time! Junior is a goofy boy who hasn't had the best start to life. He came to us, skin and bones, with a deeply embedded collar. It's been a few months of giving Junior love and medical care, but he is finally ready for adoption! Junior currently still has a ring around his neck showing the scars from his past, but in time those will heal too. Junior is a very active boy and needs to find an active family. He has lots of youthful energy and needs to be able to have a yard to play in or regular visits to the park. We do not know how Junior does with other dogs, but we do not suggest him with small children. He can be a bit mouthy and also might knock them over without realizing it. Junior deserves a second chance at life, a chance where he can finally have the life he deserves! Story
Kate is a female 6 month old Pit mix, who is sweet and playful - and ready to steal your heart! This little cutie may be a bit timid at first, but once she is away from the noisy kennel area and into the park, her joyful spirit shines! She will entertain you with her goofy puppy run and silly antics, especially when she is in a play group with other pups. And just when you think Kate couldn’t get cuter, she’ll go into your lap for a cuddle session. Though she was initially unsure of leash walking, she is quickly learning good leash manners thanks to some TLC from shelter volunteers. Now Kate is ready to keep learning with her forever family! And let’s talk about those eyes! Kate has the most mesmerizing gaze - sometimes her eyes look a cool blue and other times a soft green, making them impossible to resist. This beautiful pup is looking for a loving home where she can blossom into the perfect lifelong companion. So if you’re ready for a whole lot of love, fun and puppy cuddles, Kate is ready for you!
