Story
I’m Practicing My FOREVER HOME Happy Face Stoney is a 1.5 year old Pitbull mix weighing in at 44 lbs. This happy go lucky sweet girl is just the best girl in the whole wide world. Stoney loves cuddles on the couch with both people and dogs. Car rides around town and playing in the yard with other doggo friends make Stoney so happy. Such a lover girl, Stoney will melt any heart with her big smile. This girl loves to be with her people and will greet you with excitement no matter how much time has passed since she last saw you, 1 minute or 2 hours, Stoney is just as excited. Stoney has perfected her doggie manners, she is crate, leash, potty and dog door trained. She loves to go for walks but doesn’t love her crate, she will go in but she is very happy when she can come out. Very food motivated and sits for treats. Stoney is great with other dogs and kids, however due to excitement she may jump up so older kids may be best. A securely fenced in yard is required in Stoney’s new home. Sweet and happy Stoney will bring her happiness into her forever home. Are you ready to have as big of a smile as Stoney? All you gotta do is bring her home. (Thank you to The Hound, LLC -Formerly Shampoodles for the pawtraits) All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption. Story
When we first met her, she was fur hanging on bones with the expected issues of abandonment. That was then, this is now! She's come a long way! She's a sweet, spunky girl. She loves her walks on the path and frequently speaks 'the language of pit'...with some sounds of her very own! lol She's ready for the next step of her journey-finding her forever home! Everyone, this is Shya! --Feel free to contact the shelter if you'd like info on adopting. See more on all the ODCHS pets on our Facebook page: Ozark-Dale County Humane Society
