Story
Linc is ready for his new home! He’s estimated about 10 years old, but you wouldn’t guess it. He’s very spunky and full of life. He plays with toys and runs around the house, and is able to jump on the couch to snuggle with you. He can coexist with dogs and cats, but he tends to have a short fuse if they get in his face or get to close to him when he’s sleeping. He’s not afraid to boss other dogs around and bite at them. Luckily he doesn’t have any teeth left, but he will still need close supervision when adjusting to life with his new siblings. Speaking of being grumpy, it took him close to two weeks to trust his foster family! We don’t know what kind of trauma he experienced before he came to us, but so far he has been friendly to new faces entering his foster home. We aren’t sure what to expect when he goes to a new environment so he needs a patient adopter willing to have to work for his trust. Once you have it, he only tries to “gum” you every once in a while… like if you move him while he’s sleeping. Hopefully now he realizes humans are here to help him out and it won’t be such a big adjustment for him.The white spot on his eye is an old scar, and does require a once daily eye drop for the rest of his life. He doesn’t mind it and it’s not too expensive either.
