Meet Penelope — a one-of-a-kind girl with a heart of gold and an extra dash of charm! Penny was born with a cleft palate, but her vet has assured us that it does not interfere with her health at all. If anything, it’s gained her tons of attention from everyone she meets because it just adds to her cuteness and uniqueness Penny is a 2-year-old spayed female who is fully vetted, crate trained, and potty trained (she may have an occasional accident, but never in her crate!). ✨ The good stuff: • Dog & cat friendly (takes about a week to fully warm up, but no aggression) • Leash trained • Rides AMAZING in the car — short trips, long trips, errands… she’s your co-pilot • Very smart and loves being included in all your adventures • Absolutely LOVES wearing clothes (a true little fashionista ) • Needs a fully fenced yard because she loves to run, play, and zoom Penny’s personality: Penny is happiest when she has a human best friend to snuggle with. Extra playmates in the house are always good with her, too!! She bonds quickly and deeply and wants to be wherever you are. Her favorite spot? Under the blankets, on the pillow, right above your head — couch or bed, she’s not picky She’s a quiet, mousey type of dog. You’ll rarely hear a peep unless she’s greeting your guests. She has been left at home uncrated and does amazing. Kids: Unknown — current home has none. The ideal home: A loving family with or without friendly pets (or someone home often), a fenced yard, and humans who don’t mind sharing their space — and their heart. Important note: Through NO fault of her own, Penny is searching for her perfect forever home. She is truly one of the best dogs I’ve ever met and deserves a family who will cherish her for the amazing, affectionate, unique girl she is. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
