Story: Fleetwood was rescued from a shelter in West Virginia with all of his littermates, adopted and has now been returned to our care due to no fault of his own. We are so happy to have him now safe and sound in a foster home. Fleetwood is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Fleetwood is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a puppy, Fleetwood will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my Foster says: Fleetwood is such a sweet and playful little buddy. He loves his humans and foster sibling. His hobbies are watching dogs on TV, learning all about this big new world, and giving love to his foster human. Fleetwood's favorite part of the day is when he gets to go for walks - he has gotten really great on the leash. Fleetwood is house trained and is doing really well with his routine. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his doggy bed without any peeps. When humans are out of the house for longer than a few hours, he rests in his crate with no issues. On most days you can catch Fleetwood entertaining himself with toys, but he does love playing with his foster brother from time to time. He would do well with a play buddy or play dates with friends. When Fleetwood isn't playing with his toys, you can find him curled up snoozing, dreaming of his future family. Fleetwood's loving personality and playful nature will make him the perfect addition to any family! The fee to adopt Fleetwood is $450. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
