American Eskimo mix Pooh Bear needed us and is now ready for his forever home! 4 years, 20 pounds, he ended up in shelter as a stray with a ruptured right eye actually outside it's socket. His  former "owner" claimed him but would not agree to get vet care for his eye, which was hanging out before lost. Pooh's eye was removed by rescue's vet with no issue. He sees well from his left eye, which is a beautiful blue.  Pooh is a sweet, good boy. He plays well with other dogs, would like a doggie friend in his new home. Pooh enjoys being with his humans, nuzzling, being rubbed, hugged. He's a really nice boy, who deserves a wonderful family!  Will be available for adoption near Philadelphia, PA in February. Though nervous with new people and new situations, she settles quickly and has learned to trust. She adores her human foster kiddo and spends as much time as she can with him, so she’d love to find a forever home with older kids. Willow has lived and is currently living with other dogs and gets along well with them, especially dogs her size. She is crate trained, house trained, and comes when she is called. Willow would love to have a fenced in yard to enjoy nice days in with a family who likes to be outside too. With a little patience, we have no doubt Willow will flourish and be a wonderful and constant companion to the family willing to give her a chance. This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Meet Baby! She’s a sweet pomeranian who loves cuddles, hugs and affection. Baby is smart, attentive and would make a great family addition. I am caring for my mother and my children have gotten older which leaves little to no time for me to attend to baby unfortunately. She loves snacks, can eat unseasoned bland cooked meat, rice and mashed potatoes. Loves comfy beds and blankets. !!! she does not do well with other dogs or cats.

MEET ZIGGY! Meet Ziggy the 8 year old Pomeranian mix! He was originally surrendered to ACCT Philly due to​ his family relocating. This poor guy was suffering from severe skin issues, fur-loss, and double ear infections​. Ziggy has caught up on vet care and is now looking and feeling like a whole new dog! With some TLC and vet care his skin has cleared up, his fur is growing back, and his ears are fixed up. ​Z​iggy is currently liv​ing with 2 large dogs ​in his foster home and​ he does great with them, but ​he still prefers attention from humans. He’s been non-reactive towards cats​ but isn't currently living with any. His previous owner shared that he would​ sometimes bully other small dogs in the home​ and after getting to know his boisterous personality, we’re not surprised. It’s Ziggy’s world after all and we’re just living in it​! Ziggy ​definitely rocks that ​"main character energy​" like no other. He has his signature pom pom dance move where he claps his paws together and spins​! He also demands belly rubs multiple times a day. He’s the cutest little skunk doppelgänger and an affectionate ​little nugget. He’s still working on his table manners when food is around and house training. Nobody’s perfect after all, though Ziggy is close to it​. If you're looking for a tiny dog with a big personality.
