Story
Liza, born on June 14, 2023, and weighing about 35 pounds, has blossomed into a joyful, sociable lovebug. She adores other dogs and revels in running, chasing, and playing with toys. Her love for life is infectious! She cherishes human attention and can never get enough. However, she tends to jump on her beloved humans, which some might not favor. Given her delicate nature and past, we've not been strict in correcting this behavior, so those intolerant of such actions should consider this. Liza is energetic and must join a home with another cheerful, sociable, and stable dog, and a secure yard for play is essential, as she may initially try to escape. Hyperactive, noisy children might overwhelm her. Despite getting quite dirty and battling burdocks here, she's a tomboy with a touch of elegance. She's fun, amusing, affectionate, and content, enjoying cuddles after a busy day. Liza's past is somewhat melancholic, but she's ready to thrive in a nurturing home that can accommodate her initial shyness with new surroundings and people. Her early life was isolated with elderly caretakers, yet she has thrived here and will surely do so in a fitting, patient home. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
