Story
Domino is a very sweet and energetic dog. he is great with children, cats and other dogs but it’s preferable he go to a home with no pets or another dog his same/ smaller size. He was gifted to me when he was 5, he is now going on to 9years on July 27th. he’s been a great companion, very sweet and loving. he’s got so much energy left in him. he loves to run around out doors but he also loves laying around. Unfortunately, due to school and a new job i can no longer give him the care and life he deserves. he deserves someone who can provide him with love, walks, treats and lots of time. Preferably someone who doesn’t spend hours and hours out of the house or someone who can bring him along with them. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated against rabies. he is developing mild arthritis but that doesn’t stop him from having zoomies and having the time of his life outdoors. I truly love him and it breaks my heart to have to rehome him, but i hope he makes someone else just as happy.

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Kennedy. My owner asked CSAC to help find me a new home. My former owner had a very active lifestyle, but I want to stay home and live the quiet life. My quiet life should include no kids or other pets. I am house trained and crate trained. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Tara, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am scared because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. My name is Blue, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. The best home for me has people who have dog experience. I need a calm home with a fenced yard so I can run and play. I like riding in a car, but I am not fond of meeting other dogs when on a leash. I get scared and over react. I am not good at meeting strangers so I need an owner who can make the best decisions for me when people come to visit. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy.
