Story
Talia was rescued from a property along with her three puppies when neighbors noticed the structure protecting them had collapsed. The owner relinquished them to us when the pups were about 6 weeks old. The has been a fantastic first time mom to her three and adopting the other puppies in the rescue as well. She is a gentle spirit who is looking for a bit of adventure, but really just wants a person to call her own. She was very quick to train due to her food motivation and eagerness to please. She is a playful, yet controlled, teacher. Due to the fact she was left to forage for food before coming to us, we recommend no small animals unless it's an experiences home who can patiently take the time to do so.

Story
Moira is a fun loving bulldog that pulls like a freight train in her excitement to greet new people. She has a prey drive so no cats! She does enjoy the company of other dogs. She is learning to curb her enthusiasm in greeting other dogs, but this social butterfly is bursting to make new friends. She needs to find a home that will continue working on her impulse control (or lack thereof), as well as her basic obedience skills, but this dog will shine in any home without cats.

Story
Meet Titus the Toy Lover – The Sensitive Gentle Giant of Redmond, WA! 🖤 Titus is an almost 3-year-old American Bulldog with a classic black-and-white coat and a heart as big as his 85-pound frame! This sweet, sensitive guy is fostered in Redmond and is ready to meet his forever family. Titus is a cuddle-loving, gentle giant who’s wonderful with older kids (10+) and currently enjoys hanging out with his 7-year-old foster sister, who’s been teaching him commands. He’s a smart cookie and has quickly learned “sit,” “down,” “shake,” “paw,” “stay,” “go to your house,” and is nearly acing “place” too! His foster mom raves about how fast he learns—he’s highly treat-motivated and eager to please. An outdoorsy soul, Titus loves paddleboarding, hiking, and camping, where his calm and gentle nature shines. He’d be an ideal match for an active family ready to include him in adventures. This easygoing guy has even lived with cats before, so with proper introductions, he’d likely do well with a kitty sibling. Titus needs to be the only dog in the house- he prefers to be the top snuggle buddy. While Titus loves to run, play, and snuggle, he’s also a calm, balanced buddy who would be content lounging in an apartment or condo (as long as he gets his exercise!). He’s not a big barker, doesn’t jump, and has a cute little underbite that adds to his charm. Oh, and he loves water—he’ll even hop in the shower if he’s allowed! Crate-trained and fully potty-trained, Titus is an excellent housemate. He’s quiet in his crate overnight from 10 pm to 6 am and is trustworthy outside of it when his foster family is out. He’s a well-mannered, non-chewer and loves to entertain himself with a favorite toy or bone. His absolute favorite is to greet his humans with full-body tail wags and a toy proudly in his mouth, prancing around like the happiest pup on Earth. Titus is a well-balanced pup who’s a mix of playful, gentle, and calm, and would be a great fit for an experienced dog lover looking for a loyal, intelligent, and easygoing companion. Reach out to meet Titus in Redmond, and let this incredible boy show you how ready he is to bring joy to your life! 🐾💙 Application Link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/62df5055b071ca6dd018d8b5 Please email kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Small in name, big on presence, that is Guppy! This boy is an attention-getter- the squishy face and connection seeking eyes can convince anyone to give him a little love or a free-treat. His favorite things, in no particular order, Guppy loves- kisses, booty scratches, sharing treats with his new girlfriend, and apples. Yes, apples! Maybe not that surprising but what makes it especially fun is the chompy-chomp sound it makes when he chews them, if you have ever fed a horse an apple or an apple slice, you know the sound- it is so good! We all agree, our favorite thing about Guppy is his tippy-tappy dance, reserved for his favorite people. Imagine that big beefcake greeting you at the door doing his little dance! My heart! Watch his video and fall in love with his squishy face: https://youtu.be/VCZRq7ddZ6o?si=AVJHCjjEJojSWY3E Guppy is estimated to be 5 years old and is likely an American bulldog/Pittie mix. Of course, given Guppy is a rescue, we cannot guarantee breed or age. He currently weighs 63 lbs and has a few pounds to gain so we expect him to top out around 65-70 lbs. Another one of our favorite things about Guppy, is how great he is with kids!! He has spent a lot of time with our Director of Behavior and Intakes son and she is constantly impressed by his patience, tolerance, and over relaxed nature around her 4 year old son. Yes he is relaxed in nature around her son but he knows how to be a fun silly guy as well. Kobe loves to toss around the toys for a little game of fetch and there's Guppy just hanging out watching the action and occasionally joining in as well. He was not bothered but us rolling around on the floor with him, running around like little minions, and wasn't phased by her son jumping on and off the couch too. Another thing that we were super impressed by was Guppy's patience and impulse control with her son's fruit bar especially since he loves his snacky snacks. Guppy would sit right next to him patiently watching, hoping for a little morsel to be dropped on the floor. There was even a time when some was dropped on the floor and her son went to go pick it up and Guppy did not go zooming over to it to gobble it up. He knew it was her son's snack and not his and when it is a snack for Guppy, he was very gentle when taking treats from him and was not pushy or overbearing. He also really enjoyed licking the cheese off of her son's fingers. He's a great pup to have around to help with the after dinner clean ups. We have introduced Guppy to a variety of dogs to gauge his play style and who he gravitates to naturally. It has been easy to see that he shines brightest when he is with female dogs—his “type” continues to be the calmer, lower-energy females. His girlfriend, at leash he thinks she is, is a wiggly senior female who has the same love of treats and laying around. The two of them together is just about the cutest and he really showed us he is quite the gentleman. If they were being offered treats, he always let her have one first, never once getting pushy. If looking to match-make your current dog in your home, Guppy would be a great companion for a female that matches his chill, low-energy approach to play and life. Guppy is also gentleman in his crate- he has not made a mess once in his crate. As for other pets, a no-cats or small animals home is needed. Whether its chickens or cats or similar- Guppy wants to chase and given his size that is an avoidable bit of chaos. On walks, Guppy’s excitement to be out and about greeting the people and seeing the sights, can lead to him pulling, so he is actively practicing leash training and making great progress everyday. The truth is though, this boy isn’t the outdoor adventure type, his interest in being outside is limited to backyard potty breaks, after that he is headed back inside to that cozy spot by your feet. He is happy to go out in the back yard for a potty break and then back to that spot by your feet or in his cozy bed. If you really want him to be a true 'couch potato” you may have to offer him a few of the good treats and even then he is going to let you hear a tiny bit of sass back. Its a cute little chatter that makes us all laugh. You will see a moment of it in his intro-video. His treat-motivated focus makes him a great candidate for continued teaching and training whether its just for fun or to polish him up to be a model best-boy but he comes with the basic- a great sit and a good recall. Another time Guppy uses his voice is to say hi from a distance when he sees someone he likes or wants to meet, it isn’t excessive but it does make him better suited for house living rather than an apartment. At the rescue when Guppy is hanging out in the living room he doesn’t use his voice to greet people though, he just hops up and comes right over, whether he knows you or its your first time passing through. From painters to volunteers, everyone got a Guppy Greeting! Guppy is ready to find his forever home, where his low-maintenance personality and goofy nature will be cherished and his booty regularly scratched. If you’re looking for a hang-out all da, full of love, companion who will keep you smiling, Guppy could be the one for you. Story
Need some love in your life? Brooklyn has saved a couple kisses just for you! We believe that Brooklyn is an American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully mix of some sort. She’s estimated to be around 4 years old, and she has so many good dog skills to prove it! Brooklyn is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Fall in love with Brooklyn here: https://youtu.be/q0VAxeIdlUE?feature=shared Brooklyn is both adorable… and adoring! This cutie has a deep love for her people that you’ll feel the moment she looks into your eyes. She’s super tolerant and doesn’t mind being held, cuddled or kissed, and she loves gentle pets and sweet voices. Brooklyn has this soft and sweet side to her that will surely make her feel like a member of your family in no time. So easy to love, Brooklyn is warm and friendly with everyone she meets. She also has good basic leash manners already, and with a little more practice she’ll be a perfect walking companion in no time. We do warn you, she’s so cute and friendly that walks through the neighborhood will likely lead to many new friends and pet-stops along the way!! Brooklyn is dog-friendly, and very sweet with the other dogs here at the rescue! She loves to play, and will happily pick up a game of chase with any dog that will have her. We think she would love a doggy sibling with a medium to high energy level, someone that will play all day but will also respect her vibe when she’s settling in for a couch nap. Bonus points if the other dog in the home will snuggle up for a nap right along side her! Eager to please and food-motivated, Brooklyn will be an enjoyable dog to further train. She’s gentle when she takes treats from your hand, but enthusiastically grateful for treats in a way that will melt your heart. Brooklyn is also great at sharing treats with other dogs without jealousy or fear. While we haven’t seen her around kids just yet, we believe that Brooklyn would make an amazing family dog. She’s so sweet and gentle, so tolerant and easy-going. It’s easy to imagine Brooklyn living in a home full of kids, with family members all around. We think she would do best in a home with kids ten years and older. Brooklyn is ready for her forever! We think Brooklyn would prefer a home with a yard over an apartment. She could live with other dogs, but she could also thrive as your one and only. We have had the opportunity to cat-test Brooklyn here at the rescue, a kitty-free home would be best for Brooklyn. We are willing to test Brooklyn with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Loyal, hunky, and good with kids! You’re not dreaming, he’s a perfect 10 and he’s looking for love- presenting the one and only Shooby! Shooby Doo tips the scales at a beefy 69 pounds, and we estimate his age to be around 2 years old, past the terrors of puppyhood but still young and trainable! We believe that Shooby is an American Bully, American Pit Bull Terrier mix, but he is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Fall in love with Shooby here: https://youtu.be/0QdRB6vjBuU?feature=shared Shooby is such a good boy already, and so confident and eager to please that any further training with him will be enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. He’s treat motivated too, and a gentle treat taker. When I gave him a bath he stood there very tolerant like a good boy! Loved the drying off part. He is potty trained and holds it for very long periods in his crate. He knows to go potty outside. He’s very comfortable in his crate. He goes in on his own and appreciates it. He’s also very quiet in the crate, we’ve never heard him bark- ever! He is a gentle boy who is confident meeting new people, just walks up and knows he will get attention and pets. He is so easy on leash! He is laid back, respectful, not rowdy or jumpy. If you sit down he will walk over and stand next to you for pets, or gently hop his front legs into your lap for an impromptu snuggle. Shooby is full of personality. He’s a total toy lover, with an affinity for chews and stuffies and a hilarious indifference to tennis balls. When we opened a box of gifts for him he went for the stuffy toys, he play bowed and seemed excited. His tail was wagging like he knew the toys were for him. Here at the rescue, Shooby has spent time with kids as young as four! He has been with Cash, age 6, a few times and has acted completely comfortable. He loves the attention and playfulness with Cash. He won’t chase a ball for fetch in the yard, but seemed interested in sitting on the ground with Cash and all the stuffy toys. Shooby met Kobe, age 4, and wasn’t fazed by his running or grabbing hands. Shooby is a natural-born family dog, completely sweet and totally perfect with little ones. He seems to “get” kids in a way that only dogs like Shooby can. Shooby is ready for his forever! This precious boy is a total baby, and rightly so, wants to be the baby of your house. We believe Shooby would be happiest as an only dog. Sweet Shooby would make an amazing family dog, he’s so sweet with kids that it’s easy to imagine him as a full-time family man. We believe Shooby could thrive in any style of home- apartment, condo, townhouse, or a house with a backyard. We are willing to test Shooby with anything you need us to in order to ensure he is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Are you ready to fall in love? Meet Sweet Pea! This goofy girl is full of personality! She is a 6 year old Pit Bull mix that weighs 54lbs and is ready to leave paw prints on your heart! Sweet Pea is currently being fostered in Tacoma, Washington and would love to meet you! Sweet Pea had a rough start to life, she was found on the streets eating garbage on the side of the road. Sweet Pea was covered in motor oil, which her previous owners likely assumed would cure her sarcoptic mange and unfortunately, this home remedy caused more harm than good. Sweet Pea had a raging skin infection that affected her eyes, ears and caused permanent scarring to her skin. We also quickly discovered she had heartworms. Luckily, Sweet Pea was rescued and taken into a loving foster home that helped her heal into the gorgeous, goofy girl she is today! Sweet Pea is as sweet as her name implies! This goofy hippo is a happy go lucky girl who just wants to snuggle with her humans! SweetPea has never met a stranger, she loves everyone she meets and loves to mother the kiddos in her nanny dog way. SweetPea is a great mix of energetic and playful but will gladly crash out on the couch with you for snuggles. This girl absolutely LOVES to give kisses, so it's imperative that you indulge her once and a while! She is medium energy, with short bursts of playfulness followed by epic naps and snuggle time. She loves to sleep in bed, although she is a bed hog and steals the covers. SweetPea loves car rides, puppy lattes, meeting new people, long walks on the beach and has recently discovered that she loves the snow! She would make an excellent adventure buddy! This sassy girl is diva at times and does best with other non-reactive, playful dogs. SweetPea can get overwhelmed around multiple dogs and would do best in a home with a mellow dog buddy, or as on only dog where she can soak up all of your attention. House trained, kennel trained and excellent on a leash, SweetPea is a well mannered girl who always wants to learn. She is very food motivated and was also clicker trained by her foster mom. SweetPea loves enrichment toys, such as a Kong and nylabone. She loves any kind of toy and will keep herself busy for hours taking the toys in and out of the toy bin! SweetPea is a healthy happy girl, although she does need medicated baths once a month. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated.
