🐾 Meet Wall-e! 🐾 Hello! Let us introduce you to Walle, a truly unique gentleman with a heart as big as Texas. At just three years old, Wall-e is a laid-back companion, always ready to bask in affection. Walle is the perfect match for you if you're searching for a calm and collected buddy. Wall-e will be your new walking buddy: a gentle-on-leash pup who turns every long stroll into a whimsical adventure filled with tail wags and curious sniffs! Wall-e is a true delight on the leash, striding with a calm confidence that makes every walk a pleasure. He enjoys walks, but not when it's too hot. He's completely unfazed walking by other dogs and carries himself with grace and composure. Walle would thrive as the only dog in a home or even with a low-energy female companion, as he values his personal space and is not fond of male dogs. Wall-e loves to rub his head on you and knows how to sit, though it may require some encouragement. He adores Dentastix and big femur bones from the butcher. A cozy couch and some pets make him content, and he becomes ecstatic when you offer a treat, which he accepts with the utmost gentleness. Friendly with adults and children, Walle sometimes shows a hint of shyness when meeting new people but warms up quickly once he feels comfortable. Rescued from the side of a highway, Walle has made tremendous strides in his foster home and eagerly awaits a loving, forever family. Currently fostered in Texas, Walle's foster parents are eager to show you how wonderful he is through a virtual meet and greet. He needs a home with someone who patiently lets him settle in and know he's loved and safe. Take the chance and add a serene soul to your life. Walle is ready to fill your days with tranquility and gentle companionship. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Marian is a 1-year-old black and white pittie mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! 💖 Whether it’s long walks on the beach, hiking, or just splashing around in the sprinkler, Marian is ready to be your partner in all things fun and adventurous! Marian is an incredibly good girl who gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, dogs, and even chickens! She loves watching the chickens throughout the day and being gentle with everyone around her. Marian is quiet and peaceful, enjoying tranquility but also loving playtime, especially with kids. Her foster family says she’s a darling, looking for her forever family to share love and joy with. Marian dreams of a family with kids who want to play and a yard where she can run and explore. She enjoys pack walks with her seven foster mates and does great with leash greetings in the yard. Marian is working on her crate training and loves to tuck herself into her crate with her toys or curl up for a rest. She gets along famously with all the dogs in her foster home, especially the Chihuahua! While she needs a bit of leash work, Marian corrects easily and loves learning new things. When it comes to cats, Marian had a little interest in our resident cat at first, but once he jumped up into the cat tree, she let it go. At home, she has no interest in the cats and even gets bullied by a new one without reacting. 🐾 Marian is still a young pup, so she needs a family ready to commit to training, socialization, and all the fun (and chaos) that comes with puppyhood. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. Marian is a quick learner eager to master new skills every day. Her intelligence and willingness to please make her a joy to train. She’s perfect for walks, hikes, and showing off around the neighbourhood. Marian is a star in the making! 🌟 Ready to make memories and share endless adventures? Adopt Marian and embark on a journey filled with fun, love, and joy! 🐾💕 https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66a290a863fe2b6f240eaec6 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $775.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Story
Meet Rio, a pocket sized boxer mix that is attentive and loyal to people. Rio is a well-behaved dog who walks beautifully on a leash, needing only minimal corrections. He’s people-focused, often checking in with his handler during walks and around other dogs. He would love to go on hiking adventures or walks around the neighborhood. Rio could live in apartment due to his smart size and leash skills. But a home with a yard to roam in would be enjoyable for him too! Rio is gentle and relaxed, accepting touch with ease and even allowing himself to be picked up and carried without fuss. He does well with a quick verbal correction and shows no signs of resource guarding affection. While he gets along fine with cats when they’re on the ground, he may chase them if they jump onto high surfaces, so a cat-free home would be ideal. Rio is best suited for a home with a medium to low-energy dog or with a family where he can enjoy being both independent and affectionate. He would do well with kids and would make a great family dog! If you're looking for a loyal and attentive companion, Rio might just be the perfect match for you! Story
Kobi is a gentle soul who may initially be a bit reserved but opens up quickly once he feels secure. Though he can be shy outside his comfort zone, he walks well on a leash and adjusts easily to gentle corrections- but he does need a strong handler on walks. Kobi has lived with other dogs large and small. He prefers the ladies and submissive males. Unfortunately, Kobi does not get along with cats, as his curiosity tends to get the best of him in those situations. He can enjoy the company of goats and chickens, with whom he has shown friendliness. Adventures? Kobi loves car rides and loads and unloads with ease! He stands on the seat greeting you (he will need to be buckled in so he doesn’t end up in your lap). Kobi enjoys listening to music in the car and will even let you pick the radio station! He also loves golf cart rides! Kobi’s ideal home would be a peaceful environment with a yard to run around. Chasing sticks is a favorite pastime of his- but he’s not really a fan of toys. When he wants the attention of his humans he will bark, making him a poor candidate for an apartment! If this sweet and loyal older gentleman sounds like he could be your new best friend, apply below and a coordinator will reach out to see if you are a match!
