They are about a year old and are still very playful and energetic, but they get a lot of that out when playing together. Meet Happy, a bundle of pure energy, excitement, and friendliness. This lively puppy is full of vim and vigor, always ready to play and explore. Her enthusiasm is contagious, but her intensity can be a bit too much for little ones. Because of her jumping and rough play style, she`ll need to live with kids at least nine years old. Happy is quite vocal, expressing her feelings loudly and clearly whether she is barking at people or other animals. She has no experience living with other pets. She`s also quite needy, requiring a lot of attention and care. She doesn`t like to be alone - ever. She is sometimes affectionate and likes being petted but other times couldn`t care less. She has too much to do to spend her time cuddling. She weighs 22 pounds and would thrive in a home with a spacious yard where she can burn off her energy. A recent adopter said she was too energetic for them. She loves car rides, walks, chase, running and toys, especially something she can tug. Happy is a quick learner but needs training to help her channel her energy productively. She does know the sit and shake commands and knows that `up` means to stand on her hind legs. She`ll need your guidance and help with house training and leash walking. Adopting Happy means inviting a whirlwind of joy into your life. She may need some time and patience, but the love and loyalty she offers in return are priceless. Hoping to help get this lovely guy into a great home! He's outside potty trained, kennel trained, not food aggressive, he's quite funny and has great energy! Mr. Man loves a good game of tug of war or playing with his tennis balls. He was found with a litter of other puppies in the middle of summer in Houston Texas. He and his smaller sister are the only two left. He may be more muscle than brains but he won't let that stop you from falling in love with him. Mr. Man does great with people, he may need a moment to check you out but he's never bitten or been aggressive toward anyone. He doesn't even growl at his tennis balls when they get stuck under the couch haha! We really want to find him a good home so there will be no fee. This 6 year old beefcake was found as a stray and brought to a Houston Shelter. Unfortunately he found himself on the euthanasia list but luckily a rescuer stepped up to save him. He may be out of the shelter but has been living in boarding for years while he waits for a family. I know this dog well, I get to see him at least 4 days a week and he is one special dog. First, he has no control over his ears, they just flop around in every which direction. It will make you smile all day. He has personality for dayssss. You get him out of that kennel and he zoomies himself from one person to the next to give a kiss and loves to jump in your lap. He LOVES belly rubs. Probably no small children for this guy as he's a big boy and doesn't really know it. If you would like to be the person to give Patches the home he deserves, please fill out an application.

Meet Drax! Drax is a 7-8 year-old boy weighing around 70lbs. He's listed as an American Cattle Dog but we are thinking American Bully is more likely. Everyone that meets Drax falls in love with him. He's the goofiest boy you'll meet and wants as much love as possible. He loves people and will try to crawl into your lap. He prefers to spend his time with his people and is not a huge fan of a crate. Training could help him with this, and the rescue will provide a heavy-duty crate to help in this journey. Sadly, Drax has been overlooked for such a long time. He's really wanting a family of his own so he can show you the all the affection he has to give. Max is a 3 year old Boxer/Pit Bull mix looking for his forever home. Max was adopted from a shelter as a young puppy, then abandoned by his owner just a year later. He has been in foster care waiting for the right family to come along. Max enjoys car rides, going for walks, meeting new people, playing with toys, and cuddling with his people. He is a very sweet and attentive dog. He learns new tricks very fast. Max has a medium level of energy. He can definitely keep up with long walks and new adventures but is just as happy to hang out on the couch. Max is good with dogs his size or larger, but needs a home without smaller animals, including small dogs and cats.
