Story
Annie is a female tan with white mix breed. She is 2 years old and she weighs 36 pounds. Annie is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. Annie is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Annie is ready for adoption. Annie is people and dog friendly, and only mildly curious about the cat. Annie was owner surrendered (through no fault of Annie’s) by the person who has had her since she was 10 weeks old so she is pretty unsure what has happened, but even with being nervous and unsure she has been sweet. Annie doesn’t know her own strength and needs any other dogs to get her size or larger and robust for play. Annie is potty and kennel trained. She pulls mightily on a leash and is spooked by cars driving by. Annie knows her name, knows sit, and could learn so much more. We think Annie would do best with a fenced back yard for her and a friend to play in. Adoption fee is $150. Must apply: Application for adoption is located at http://fs19.formsite.com/JeffTarpleyRescue/application/index.html Jeff Tarpley Rescue 903-490-2959 We require all potential adopters to submit an application. We only accept applications for a specific dog you are interested in adopting. We do not keep waiting lists or files of general applications for dogs we might get later. The online application can be found at this location: http://fs19.formsite.com/JeffTarpleyRescue/application/index.html A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.

Story
Application link https://forms.gle/mtaWGXgjgBRLat1T7 Our mother was found in a barn after giving birth to the 12 of us on October 10th. Mama was so exhausted, weak and hungry and most of all scared. Her milk was not even enough for the 12 of us because she had been abandoned and left on her own while we were growing in her tummy, but we nursed anyway just thankful for her warmth and her repeated licking and snuggling to comfort us. The kind loving Huddleston family found us and contacted Greg King Canine Recovery Dog Rescue for help. Our mom got all the food she needed and even learned to start trusting humans again! We are now weaned, (Mom says she could not be happier about that) and eating all the puppy food our tummies can hold. All I need is my own person, because the 12 of us have to share 2 people and we have to stay at the farm by ourselves while they are at work. I get very lonesome. Date of Birth October 10, 2025 The total cost of adoption is $175 Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 7 locations on our transport route. The $100 adoption fee is not due until you pick him/her up on the transport date at the location you select on the "Transport Roster Form" You also have the option to designate someone else to pick up your pet as long as we know in advance. If you haven’t yet seen our Facebook Reels of past adoptions and transports, please do so. The mother dog was a pregnant stray that had her 12 babies in a barn that provided warmth and safety and then food and love once they were discovered. We started NeoPar vaccinations and dewormers at 5 weeks. Puppies receive 3 puppy shots before they are transported. We provide a folder for you to take to your veterinarian when you pick up your puppy with medical records/information. Dominant breed information is based on physical traits of parents and puppies. Mother dog looks like an Anatolian Shepherd/Kangal Shepherd, possibly Boxer mix and we believe that daddy is a Great Pyrenees. Greg King Canine Recovery dog rescue is located at 484 Farren Road in Texarkana, Texas 75503. Once a month, we transport all pre-adopted dogs and puppies to the following 7 cities because all of the shelters in our area are kill shelters, so we try to save all that we can by getting them adopted and transporting them to their new homes. Because it is a 1000 mile transport one way, we have to leave Texarkana, Texas the day before you are scheduled to pick up of your new dog or puppy. I will provide a live Google Map link in order that you may follow our travel progress to pick up at one of these seven locations on our transport route, or if I have to stay at the rescue to care for all of our rescues, I will give you frequent updates of the transport's travel progress. Poplar Bluff, Missouri Arnold, Missouri Springfield, Illinois Bloomington, Illinois Rockford, Illinois Joliet, Illinois Kalamazoo, Michigan Please contact me, Latrell King, at 903-280-4233 for adoption questions. Please send a text before calling and then leave a voicemail because I don’t usually have my phone with me when I’m taking care of the puppies, cleaning kennels, feeding, vaccinating, etc. Cell phones are not puppy proof. I will return your call or respond to your message ASAP. I will explain the process with the approval of your application.
