Meet Manny….this sweet boy came to the Euless shelter as a stray, extremely malnourished and with happy tail syndrome. Despite undergoing a partial tail amputation surgery and several followup vet visits, he is one of the happiest dogs you’ll meet. At 3 years old, he still has the playfulness of a puppy, but without all the trials of training. Manny is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a harness and loves car rides. He knows basic commands and his foster family has been working with him to learn more and say he is a very smart, quick study. Manny enjoys playing with his toys, especially BALLS and chasing after them. He has excellent house manners and does well with children and lives side by side with guinea pigs without issue. As much as he loves to play, he’s happy to settle down and snuggle up next to his people. Manny prefers to be the only dog and will do best in a home with a fully fenced backyard. Manny is an American Bulldog/Staffordshire terrier mix, with a beautiful, healthy white coat. He’s been able to gain a little weight and is up to 53 lbs. Theo is a very smart dog. He is deaf. He uses his wiggle nose to sniff out things. He loves to snuggle on the couch, his social training is going very well and he excels in learning new things. He's not been around a lot of dogs so I am trying to help him do well in his social skills. He does not do well at all with cats, squirrels, anything that any Pit Bull or Bull Dog would chase. If Theo does not work well in your home setting, I will take him back and find another place for him. As with any Terrier, Theo tends to have an allergy, I put a generic Zrytec in an egg in the morning and at night. I also rub some coconut oil on him to keep his skin from being too dry.

Intake date February 14th of 2022!!!! Is it fair this dog is still in rescue!! Is it fair certain people have made it really hard for these dogs to find homes?? Is it fair we can’t do adoption events without people calling and harassing the store?? If u answered yes to any of these questions something is really wrong w u. Life in a kennel/rescue is no life for a dog that is adoptable and friendly. She deserves a home. She has a beautiful heart shape on her side. She is great w all dogs will bully them at first but if u ignore her she warms up to them fast. She loves kids and she is super good on the leash and loves to go for car rides. Is it fair we have had this dog since June of 2022?? Yes two years he has been in rescue. Is it fair we can only post on adopt a pet and rescue cause certain people make it hard to host an adoption event cause they want to call and harass the stores we are at which sometimes is the exposure these bigger dogs need to get a home. Is it fair this dog may have to spend the rest of his life in a rescue?? If u answered yes to any of those questions something is seriously wrong with u. Hugo is amazing he even got bit by a spider and had to have his toe amputated and never once did he snap or act out in pain. Even the vet today did his shots and hw test and did not even restrain him he just sat there. Hugo is amazing he just needs a home w kids to rough house w him. He loves toys and can play all day. He is a 3 year old American bulldog mix. His fee is reduced give him a home today. His owner passed and that is why he is w us. Fee $200
