UPDATE: Simone (previously known as Piper), is phenomen Piper has been with our family near Austin, TX, since mid-August. She was found abandoned, and has grown stronger, sweeter, more energetic, and quite the clown. There are no current health issues, and all shots are up to date. We have witnessed a tremendous recovery, and we know she will do well moving forward. She has a dominant personality around other dogs, and seems curious around cats. She is always willing to lay her life on the line if someone comes at my children while holding an object that could be used as a weapon. This comforts my my wife and I, but may be scary for some. Give this girl some love, and she will return your love ten-fold.

Story
Jake is a real love. He is truly a companion dog. He just loves people. In fact, his favorite is to sit in the kitchen while you cook. Everything is better when Jake's around. He was rescued from California and has rebounded magnificently. He gets along with all the other dogs at the rescue and loves horses. He follows them around the ranch just like the old Texas cowboys used to do. He is current on all his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He is a very gentle dog and great on the leash. Nature trail anyone? Give us a buzz and let us introduce you to our sweet boy, Jake.May 23, 2024, 3:59 pm

Story
Meet Puffy: Professional Napper, Aspiring Zoo Keeper, and Certified Good Boy Ladies and gentlemen, roll out the red carpet because Puffy is here to steal your sofa—and your heart. This handsome, big ol’ marshmallow of an American Bulldog comes equipped with stunning looks (seriously, models are jealous) and a nap schedule tighter than a CEO’s calendar. Puffy’s daily agenda? Sleep while you “work” (he knows you're watching TikToks). Grace you with his presence during TV time. Briefly pounce on his beloved blue jolly ball in the yard—just enough to remind you he could be an athlete. Return to the couch for another nap. Repeat as needed. But Puffy is more than just a handsome face and a champion napper. This guy is basically Dr. Doolittle—he’s lived with cats, parrots, and even giant tortoises. He’s ready to run your household like a gentle, slightly wobbly zookeeper. Speaking of wobbly, Puffy has a neurological condition that makes him a little unsteady on his paws, so he’s looking for a calm, quiet home where he can stay safe on the first floor (stairs are for peasants anyway). Training? Puffy’s got that down. He knows "sit," "down," and "place," and will do anything for praise. Seriously—call him a good boy and he’ll move mountains for you (or, at least, move slightly faster toward his next nap). Treats also work wonders, because Puffy knows snacks are life. Ready to upgrade your life with Puffy, the world’s handsomest, snooziest and most lovable sidekick? Follow his adventures on Instagram at @omg_its_puffy to see how ridiculously adorable he is. Puffy’s just looking for a comfy couch, a quiet home, and someone to call him a good boy forever. Will it be you?

Things Ollie's fosters love about Ollie (get ready--it's a long list!): "We love watching movies with him. We love training with him and the satisfaction that he gets from earning treats. We love to take him running and hiking, and to play his favorite games with him, like fetch and tug of war. We love his silky ears and his happy personality. We love that even though he's big and strong, he's actually a giant softie. We love that he's loyal and loves his person to death. We love how good he is at catching and how much he enjoys fetch." Keri, former foster "Ollie is such a silly boy. I'm definitely going to miss laughing at the silly things he does throughout the day. He's a big baby in a giant dogs body. He's a big cuddler too, but will sigh really loudly if you move too much during cuddle sessions."-Sama, former foster -Ollie is described by his shelter friends as a puppy in a big dog body. And we couldn't agree more! He is goofy, energetic, and just so excited about eveeeerything! He's engaging, playful and affectionate. We can't emphasize enough how much this sweet boy loves his friends! -Ollie loves playing with toys, and it is pure joy to see the wheels turning as he tries to decide which one is the absolute perfect one. He also enjoys going on walks and he checks in with his person regularly. -Ollie has potential to live with a well-matched dog pal! He often enjoys rowdy, goofy play with other rowdy or tolerant dogs in playgroup, and we think another rough-and-tumble or social sibling would match well with him. Story
Athena was adopted in October of 2015 when I was in college. She has made it through many moves and life changes. She is now a sweet old lady who just wants to live out the rest of her days in the comfort of a loving home. She has been well cared for, well loved and cherished. She would need to be the only pet in the home but does amazingly with people. She has been around kids before and does well with them. My parents have been keeping her for the past year and can no longer do it. I would take her back but my husband is severely allergic. She is very smart and well house trained.
