Rocco was dumped in our neighborhood before the holidays and we took him into our home to foster him. He's been a welcome addition to our home and is a big fan of kisses and (whether you want it or not) sitting on you while you're on the couch :) Rocco is a bully breed, so he can be stubborn at times. If he wants pets or scratches, he can pester you. He already knew how to sit, shake, and he's 100% crate trained. He is a bit of a fence guardian, but he'll listen to you if you correct him. The key with bully breeds is persistence and being firm. He might do better with someone who's had experience with the breed or someone who doesn't mind putting their foot down. He does take some time to get used to new surroundings , but he really is a big baby. He's a good guard dog too. He's got a 6th sense about Amazon/USPS delivery persons. He's not much for playing longer than a few minutes, but he does love his rope toy and a nice chew bone. Rocco gets along with our cocker spaniel, but we he might be best to be an only dog if there is another bully-type / alpha dog in the house. Meet Happy, a bundle of pure energy, excitement, and friendliness. This lively puppy is full of vim and vigor, always ready to play and explore. Her enthusiasm is contagious, but her intensity can be a bit too much for little ones. Because of her jumping and rough play style, she`ll need to live with kids at least nine years old. Happy is quite vocal, expressing her feelings loudly and clearly whether she is barking at people or other animals. She has no experience living with other pets. She`s also quite needy, requiring a lot of attention and care. She doesn`t like to be alone - ever. She is sometimes affectionate and likes being petted but other times couldn`t care less. She has too much to do to spend her time cuddling. She weighs 22 pounds and would thrive in a home with a spacious yard where she can burn off her energy. A recent adopter said she was too energetic for them. She loves car rides, walks, chase, running and toys, especially something she can tug. Happy is a quick learner but needs training to help her channel her energy productively. She does know the sit and shake commands and knows that `up` means to stand on her hind legs. She`ll need your guidance and help with house training and leash walking. Adopting Happy means inviting a whirlwind of joy into your life. She may need some time and patience, but the love and loyalty she offers in return are priceless. Dew is such a cutie! She’s short and squat with a uniquely crooked tail and a very kissable face! She’s sweet and open to any and all attention – including kisses. She loves to be pet! She can also entertain herself if need be. She’s very curious and likes to investigate what’s going on around her. Dew has a low to medium energy level, and great leash skills! She’s very easy to handle and would make a great best friend. Dew did have a home, but was unfortunately never reclaimed by her owners. So now she’s looking for someone new to love!
