Dominic surely is a fitting name for this young social dog. While his foster was away for the summer, Dominic graciously shared his home with our Behavior Team. His welcoming demeanor towards dogs and new friends certainly were a "godsend". Over the summer Dominic hosted several dogs of varying sociability including: super long stay wheelie pup Emma, long stay Ruthie, spunky little Wagyu, and baby girl Nora. Dominic also fostered Clubby through heartworm treatment and they became thick as thieves. Dominic is also a playgroup rockstar here at APA! Dominic met a handful of new people over the summer including a dog savvy kid! Dominic has been in his foster home with a lovely social female dog who helped show him the ropes in the home. His doggie sister helped him grow from a puppyish boy into a fine young adult doggo. Dominic can now roam freely when his people are away and does well meeting new friends. He enjoys snuggling in bed, on the couch, or napping on his own depending on your preference. Dominic would do best in a home with a well-matched dog, but he'll also hear out other offers. Ace is about 9 months old not sure exactly sure of his breed but seems to be American bulldog mix, This little guy was abandoned or lost he was found injured and hiding under a vehicle when he was a pup about 3 months old so we adopted him after no one came forward after putting flyers up, he's s very smart energetic loving dog that's for sure, he's only ever been around our Chihuahua so not sure how he'd be around other animals or children, he's learning not to jump on people but he gets excited after we've been gone for 10 minutes or after coming home from work, honestly he thinks he's a lap dog and will cuddle up in my husband's lap, He is friendly around strangers but seems to be protective and alert when out for walks or in his environment, He's a very smart and intelligent dog who needs a lot of attention and a very large yard, , we moved into an apartment and it's just not large enough for him, we love him and want the best for him

This is Tusa :) she is a beautiful American Bully (3yrs old). I have had Tusa since she was 7 months old. She is the sweetest, most gentle, loving, perfect dog a human can ask for. Unfortunately, over the past month she has become aggressive towards the other dog that we have. She has never shown any sign of aggression before and it has only happened recently. With that being said I am taking her to “sit means sit” training facility in Austin, TX and would be happy to share the input they give me to any potential “rehomer”. Meet Max... Max is a sweet guy who loves humans, small and big. He's good with most dogs as well. Max enjoys nothing more than being around his people and snuggle up but he's also ready to go for car rides or enjoy outdoor activities with his family. He is house and kennel trained. While Max is good with most dogs we recommend female dogs. Max only issue is that he is food aggressive with other dogs (not with people) so he has to get fed in his kennel or in another room. This is something that's easy to manage. Max was abandoned together with 6 other dogs in an apartment in deplorable conditions. He was there for 3 weeks when we heard about it and rescued him and the others. So we can't blame him that he does not want to share his food. Other than that he's an absolutely great dog. 7/14/2023 Pancho II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Pancho! I am a 1.5 year old handsome brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to dynamics in my family changing and they are no longer able to provide me with the time that I need since moving into my second home. I am described as active, friendly, smart, protective, and playful. I currently live with other resident dogs and we are said to get along fine. There are no kids in my home but when I had exposure to kids at the dog park, I was fine with them. I do not live with cats but will bark at them from the house when they walk by, so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I do need some help with learning how to be house trained and crate trained, if that is required in my forever home. I am a quick learner so these should be easy for me to learn. Currently I sleep outside but would love to sleep indoors like I have in the past. If I must be left alone, it is suspected that I could be curious and not have the best behavior because I’m used to being left alone with the resident dogs and used to having company. When I am outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious about what is under the grass and will dig to find out. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, wrestling and chasing other dogs, watching tv, going to the dog park, being with the humans, and cuddling.
