Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ben is a sweet, ever so handsome and an independent boy who loves to be near you (he gets SO excited when we come home) but can equally occupy himself. He’s house trained, crate trained and a great eater! He is curious for life, and would likely do best with a home or space with a fence. We’ve not had to crate him, and have had no issues.  He’s got a funny personality, a silly howl (only comes out once in a while, definitely not an issue) and is basically a dream.       $150 adoption fee  Medical Notes: Neutered Received a Proheart 12 injection. Proheart provides protection against heartworms for 12 months.  Mircochipped Heartworm negative Vaccinations are up to date Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 8:24 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tulip has excellent manners—no counter surfing here! She takes treats gently, and while she sleeps in her crate at night, she would love to snuggle in bed with you too. Tulip is gentle and friendly with dogs of all sizes. Tulip is house-trained and doesn’t mess when left unattended. She’s a big fan of giving kisses and loves playing outside with her toys to burn off her boundless energy. Tulip enjoys the company of other dogs and is wonderful with children, making her an all-around amazing companion. Medical Notes: Tulip was found to have an old and healed fracture through her pelvis. She is able to get around very well and this does not slow her down.  However, because the fracture was not cared for properly this did cause damage to her femoral head on her right side. Our doctor told us she will need FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery at some point in her future. At that time Proverbs will pay for that surgery with our doctor at Cornerstone Animal Hospital in Dickson. Tulip does occasionally get an anti-inflammatory medication called Carprofen on days where she has played a bit too hard. She is also on joint supplements to help support her joints/body. Received a Proheart 12 injection. Proheart provides protection against heartworms for 12 months. Mircochipped Spayed Vaccinations are up to date  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 8:24 pm

Story
Are your nights getting ruff and lonely? Need a partner to keep an eye out on ya? I got your left, cause I'm Lefty! As you may be able to see, my right ear has disappeared!! Kind of like magic but with lots of blood/infection and no one really knows what happened to it cause I was found like that :( But don't feel sorry for me, I was SAVVEDDDDDD!!! And my ear was completely cleaned up and fixed and I still have an intact ear canal so no deafness here!! AND I'm just a big, huggable, goofball who needs a home and some love! I'm like a traditional Labrador; food motivated, eager to play, and a big cuddler. I probably have some American Bulldog in me cause I am SOLID :) Maybe we can hang out on the couch and eat some snacks together- you KNOW I love snacks!! I was heartworm positive when found in March, but I have completed treatment! I am READY for you so hurry up and adopt me!! I am great with kids, other dogs and pretty much everyone I meet. In fact, I was in a HUGE HUGE HUGE parade for Fiesta in San Antonio and I was the HIT of that parade!! My finder was SO generous and wanted to put money towards my adoption fee! Part of the fee will be sponsored if you decide we could be best friends! I am waiting.... hurry up......you won't regret it!! I mean, LOOK at my mug :) Local adoption fee HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY HIS FINDER!!! Out of state adoption fee is $200 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Ford, a remarkable Bulldog whose presence is as powerful and steadfast as a mighty river. Just like the characteristics of his breed, Ford embodies kindness and courage, showcasing a unique blend of friendliness and dignity. Now you may not see it by looking into his gorgeous brown eyes, but Ford has suffered in his short life.... he came to the rescue from the streets with a HORRIFIC hernia on his back end, near his rectum. He required two surgeries to correct the hernia and allow him to have a normal life again. He came through with SHINING colors ;) With his well-muscled frame and low-slung stature, Ford is the epitome of a true bruiser, but it's his iconic "sourmug" face that represents his unwavering courage and tenacity. Despite his robust appearance, Ford is a docile and loyal companion, adapting seamlessly to any environment, be it the bustling city or the serene countryside. With Ford by your side, you'll experience the unwavering devotion and unmistakable presence of a Bulldog, a breed that leaves an indelible mark on your heart. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this incredible Bulldog into your life, as Ford's unique spirit will bring joy, love, and an unmistakable charm that only he can deliver. Some basic information about Ford; he is male, a Bulldog mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Ford is not great with other dogs (or cats or other critters) and would be best in a home with either only adults or older children and as a single dog. But his heart will fill your home with all the love you need!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Gayle, a 3-year-old female American Bulldog mix with a stunning apricot and white bicolor coat. Gayle is a high-energy pup who loves spending time with people. She's incredibly friendly and cuddly, always eager to share affection. While Gayle enjoys the company of people, she can be selective with other dogs and might need a patient and experienced owner who can help her navigate her interactions. She's a bit anxious and defensive around other dogs, but with slow exposure and gentle guidance, she has the potential to adjust and become more comfortable over time. We suggest a single dog home for Gayle. If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a loving and energetic companion, Gayle could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little time and patience, she's sure to become a loyal and devoted friend. Come meet Gayle and see if you can be the one to provide her with a forever home filled with love and understanding. Story
It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Walter! I like to greet people the old fashioned way, a tip of the nose, a meeting of the eyes, and a formal introduction of who I am. I've always kind of been an old-soul, at least that's what people tell me, with my wrinkled fur and gentle eyes. As an older gentleman I tend to have a bit more patience than these young whippersnapper pups. You'll find me waddling around quite slowly but my tail still wagging none the less! I have been known to snap when nervous, but I have come so far and I just need a little time and patience. Cause I just so want to be your big goofy friend! I have a soft and squishy face to go along with my squishy personality! I am great with my people and great with other dogs too. I am shy at the very first but am on the fast track to love! As a senior dog there's really only one thing I care about ... TREATS ... just kidding, it's being close to others. Being close to others helps remind me that I am here and my story is still being written with infinite possibilities. Perhaps you and I could write the next chapter together?
